I still don't think that excuses the play calling. It was 3rd down and you've got Chris fucking Jones ready to jump on little white boi ass. KC has been incredibly predictable this year defensively because they almost always blitz on 3rd down and short yardage. They would have likely rushed on 4th down as well.
I mean, the play calling can absolutely be hammered on him. But the choices of what to do after the coin flip and kicking a field goal on fourth down, I think, are very defendable

I don't know who it was, but there was a Chiefs player just standing there with his hands out trying to figure if he could touch the ball. If he had just scooped it up, it may have turned into a safety and saved everyone some time and heartache.
I don't know if he would have scored. And no idea if the game plays out the same way either.

That's fun part of 3rd down against the Chiefs. Sure, somebody is blitzing, but who? If offenses could figure that out they wouldn't have racked up the most unblocked rushers this season.
Yeah I don't think the blocking scheme was to let Chris Jones run as fast as he can at Purdy

Nickelodeon was funny.
I wondered what Spongebob was doing up in the stands yesterday. Now I wish I'd been watching this coverage instead, because this is actually entertaining. Dora the Explorer suggesting the teams need a map to find the endzone? You can't tell me Nickelodeon isn't shitposting.
I can not understand what's happening, ig some people are mad taylor is pro biden for the optics or something and black people are mad thst she's obviously racist and browses 4chan in her private life. And football fans are mad because teen girls are watching less to support teams and more because taylor. And some people are happy Taylor's bfs team won because the other team is from a Cali team as opposed to the Kansas team with the less pc mascot that got the little native boy defamed.with the media on Taylor's pocket trying to make it seem like a clear right wing against left issue with her and the chiefs as the left?
I don't know and I don't care about all the Taylor Switft stuff. I came here to sperg about the game I saw yesterday. Though I did chuckle a few times when seeing jerseys with "SNEED" and "GAY" on them.

One of the big things that stood out for me this game was the difference between how Purdy and Mahomes react to the pocket shrinking as the defensive line moves in. Purdy stayed in position, watching downfield, waiting for an opportunity to make a pass. There were a number of times I expected him to start scrambling away to avoid getting tackled, but no, he stayed there while a defensive lineman is maybe a foot from grinding him into the dirt, and then fires the ball off to make a pass. To me, that shows he trusts his offensive linemen. Even when the defensive line is about to smash him into the dirt, he trusts that his offensive line will hold the defense that one extra moment needed to make a pass, and doesn't start running away until he actually has to. I would guess the offensive line have a similar level of trust for Purdy.

Compare Mahomes. The pocket started to move in on him and he would freak the fuck out and start scrambling, even when the pocket was way bigger than what Purdy was comfortable operating in. I dare say he made things worse for himself a few times when scrambling away from the pocket, rather than staying in place and letting his offensive line do their job.

It was also interesting to watch both teams come overtime. You could tell they were getting tired. The snappiness and decisiveness of movement was gone, and everyone was moving a little slower. Except curiously, Mahomes. Whereas during regulation, he seemed to freak out when whenever the pocket started to shrink, during overtime, he seemed more focused, less concerned with the pocket and more intent on where his receivers were going.

Just wait til They find out She's actually Zena LaVey. That will really blow the AWFLs minds.

That being said, from here on out, I will abandon everything about football, and abandon all of the other inane conspiracy theories about Taylor Swift, and autisticly and wholeheartedly dive into the Taylor Swift is a Zeena LaVey clone theory without a second thought..

This dude goes pretty deep into this stuff and mentions Zeena LaVey at 1:20

EDIT: Site is being fucky with video uploads so here's a streamable link instead:

I don’t understand the rigged narrative. How does the outcome of a sports game help Biden win an election?

Get a new bit you dumb gorilla nigger.
lol coming from you that's pretty rich considering your past :story:

Supposedly the 49ers didn't know the new playoff OT rules (that both teams get a chance, even on a TD). I think it's best to let the other team have their offensive drive first so then you'd know if you need to go for it on 4th down or kick a fg to win/tie.

Who's top 5 coming into the year?
Too early to tell with the draft and free agency and all that and there's a lot of free agents this year.

it's not about the election. People have been suspecting internal fuckery in football for about a decade now. I'm not a sports fan but the two biggest points I've heard are 1. The superbowl winners have won due to specious last minute calls for nearly 7 years in a row (I'm too lazy and don't care enough about football to fact check this) and 2. It was decided during a lawsuit several years ago that legally the NFL is officially entertainment and not a sport.

It's not just that but also the fact that the 49er's, despite having the better regular season record and being the actual #1 Seed of their Conference, was the away team and the Chiefs were the "home" team thanks to the NFL's own silly rules and so the Chiefs get to practice at the field the Super Bowl is played on that they're already way more familiar with to begin with because it's the home of a division rival. It's the lesser version of the Buccaneers and Chiefs Super Bowl a few years ago. And of course the field the 49er's got to practice on was blatantly inferior (the NFL of course saying it was good is just more proof of bs), and we know the refs will always be on Mahomes side, they just flat out stopped calling penalties in the second half when the Chiefs were behind. And there's even little stuff like Tony Romo being a broadcaster when he's physically incapable of not sucking Mahomes's dick for more then three seconds. And leading up to the game if you just tried looking up news on the NFL you're inundated with Taylor Swift articles instead of actual Football news. It's clear who the NFL wanted to win and they did everything in their power to make it happen. You could even make an argument that the injuries sustained by the 49er's were the result of a lack of practice on the field and having an inferior one to use leading up to the Super Bowl.

(Yes this is blatant seethe and salt but it doesn't stop it from being true)

Somehow the extremely online right managed to meme themselves into hating the Swift-Kelce thing. With all the impotence of an angry child.

Rather than making fun of San Francisco’s designated shitting streets.

Being officially partnered with FanDuel and MGM Betting doesn't help the "rigged" argument, either. Vegas had the point total at 47.5, final point total was 47.... hmmmm.

Well now that the season is over I am kind of excited to see what new drama will unfold from my two teams, Redskins and Ravens.

For Ravens the big drama currently is Zay Flowers, who was accused of domestic assault.
Basically being accused of beating his girlfriend and his brother pulling a gun on her.

Hes the one that got the taunting flag, fumbled a TD, and then had a hissy fit on the sideline, injuring his hand by striking a bench during our game vs the Chiefs. I wont say he cost us the game, but he didnt fucking help. If he gets arrested it will be hilarious to me personally because my FiL wears his jersey on game days.

The Commies I think the only real drama is hiring and who the fuck will QB. They currently dont want to get the number 1 draft pick so itll be number 2. Howell has proven that hes not very good and hopefully this team can actually have a decent QB for the first time in decades.

Both Talyor Swift and one of the better players on the Chiefs (that ironically did not do much during the SuperBowl) will be shilling for Biden pretty hard. The dude Swift is dating is a huge Bud Light and Pfizer sellout so expect to see more clot shots and sign up to vote blue ads starting those two in the summer.

I see more libtards saying the right are mad, than there are actually mad right wingers.

Though the main reason I don't like Swift-Kelce, is the fact that I can't even watch any sporting event without them somehow being mentioned. Wanna watch highlights? Swift and Kelce commercials. Just watching the RedZone channel to keep an eye on some games? Host talking about Swift. Watching the actual game? Multiple shots of Swift in the booth, rather than the players.

I would assume they'll draft a guy or trade for Fields (unless Atlanta beats them to him). Based on how Fields has played, hopefully they go for the former option

Absolute, complete, and total vindication in full for the right-wing nutjobs. The San Fran Hippies (forgot their name) were about to win by a huge amount early on (19-2 I think), before the score barely evened (22-19) and the Wichita Redskins (not into sportsball) won the game in the very last moment with three thingies on the clock (really not into sportsball). Establishment media jesters bow down.
