Nothing *and* he's been instrumental in their postseason chokes under McCarthy.
Goff, on the other hand, is not the reason the Lions lost the NFC Championship game. There's a reason they spent so much draft capital on their secondary this year.

I just checked out some of the clips and while parts of his speech were a bit corny, I agree with the overall broader points. The butthurt from people who wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between a football and a tennis ball before Taylor Swift decided to date a guy who weighs more than a poodle, and the people who swear that the Handmaid's Tale is going to happen any second now are seething. :story:

It's a shame that he's going to get cut from the team if Taylor decides to threaten Kelce with a sex strike.

Well I'm sure the original plan was to grab Nix or Penix and sit him but they didn't realize how much purple drank Atlanta was on.

Though actually the funniest thing would've been to grab Jameis. You've seen Goff, now see the anti-Goff.
 
I don't understand where people get the idea that the Lions were at all looking to move on from Goff instead of extend him this year. He ran the fuck out of an offense that had everyone and their mom trying to poach Ben Johnson this past hiring cycle. And Johnson's given him equal credit in designing the scheme as well as having to operate it.
He doesn't have a Mahomes-ian highlight reel but he diagnoses coverages and gets the ball exactly where it needs to go to make the most out of his skill players. He has moved way beyond where he was in LA, where McVay just forced him into his wunderkind offense and treated him like a glorified QB robot. He's a top half starting QB at the absolute bottom, and flirts with the top 10 when he's in his element.

Welcome to the ballooning nature of QB contracts and what the market rate looks like for any good QB that is at risk of hitting free agency soon.
Dak wasn't worth being the 2nd highest paid behind Mahomes when he signed his deal either, and he had earned it way less than Goff did.
 
As of right now, a petition on change.org has reached 115,000 signatures demanding the release of Harrison Butker by the Chiefs.

He's too good a kicker for them to outright release him at this point, but he'll probably be given an extremely short leash in case he gets a case of the yips and misses kicks.

The NFL has also "condemned" his statement.

All I can think of to say is that I hate faggots, niggers and trannies so much.
