But this is a very hyped up rebuild year and we are missing key position players that aren't rentals currently. Granted the injury depending on the severity will keep them out till week two but, we really needed him in camp so Herbert can be comfortable with his third coach. The problem with plantar fasciitis is that there's really no rehab for it beyond "stop fucking doing anything", lots of stretches, and time. Which you can probably guess doesn't gel well with a starting QB getting injured during training camp.
I had a case of it last summer. That shit hurts, but if you can stand to do the stretches and drink just gallons of water a day, you can bounce back from it relatively quickly. By the time you're on the other side of it, moving around on your feet helps knock the rest of it out. Mine lasted only two weeks, and I was up moving around with less and less pain every day after the first week.
Man you had a lucky case of it. Mine chased after me for 9 goddamn months and it was like rolling a die whether I'd be able to get out of bed in the morning without instantly crumpling
