Giving Daniel Jones not the worst O-line in NFL history and people are surprised that he can look good.

Daboll needs to stop getting so conservative that he allows teams to get back into the game.
I don't think he looked good at all. He threw missed screens, he dropped easy passes. He doesn't look great at all. He's very slow and very inaccurate.

Did you watch the game? I feel like I'm crazy when people hold onto their preconceived notions for QBs and never let them go. He had a good game but people think he's bad so that is not possible. Its ok to admit that. Outside of the Vikings game, he has been solid.
He was awful, their surprisingly good run game and excellent secondary won them that game
Their secondary is horrendous.

Every opponent that has played the Lions has lost their next game.
Just an odd observation

That was a fucking atrocious throw by Love to avoid a safety. So instead of giving the other team 2 points, you give them a pick 6 instead. Oofbeans.

We call that "Doin' a Jimmy G"
Really enjoying this Commies vs Browns game. Watson looks like shit.

Evidently when the Browns said they wanted "an adult at Quarterback" they meant someone with extensive legal experience.

Bless the Panthers for making Chicago look like an Super Bowl-caliber team. I'll take it, just this moment. Rest of the season will be hell but the defense is doing lots of work and Williams is becoming confident in a month that isn't June for once. Allen back helps loads. Can't wait to still be 4th in the North at seasons end.

Seeing all 4 NFC North teams make the playoffs would be a bloodbath of hilarious proportions.

Current NFC rankings have the Vikings, Lions and Packers all in the top 7, and Bears have the 8th.

Looks like the Stillers are gonna run Field's ass off tonight.

Edit: this truly is an grotesque form of steelers football and my brain has been poisoned by watching the Goffense.

Two different field goal attempts blocked and returned for touchdowns today. First for the 49ers and now for the Giants.
With the number of blocked kicks and punts this year, I'm starting to think several ST coaches did not see the all touchbacks league coming and spent way too much time working up return plays.

Steelers got a FG block too. How many is that today?

It's like you can't engineer your way around teams playing during what would normally be their breakfast or something.
This is why I roll my eyes whenever someone suggests a European team.
Yeah I'm honestly not a fan of these Euro games and wish it wasn't a thing. Sharon Rodgers needs to retire.

Both sides of the ball looked bad, but the Jets have one of the best secondaries in the league and Darnold took a rib shot that he never seemed to recover from, either way he looked bad. I had a feeling this game would be a little tricky just off of that alone. My real concern for the vikes right now is our special teams, its just objectively bad.

Also Deshaun Watson needs to be straight up lynched, he had QBR of 8 last night. He's had two single digit QBRs games and his best game his QBR was 37. Abysmal dogshit.

>tfw your QB is posting QBRs 1/3rd the size of the number of women he's been accused of assaulting
I don't know what Cleveland even does. Haslam is an egotistical moron and is almost certainly the reason Jameis isn't starting or they're figuring out what they have in DTR, they almost literally cannot field a team if they cut him because of the dead cap hit, and even if they get SUPER lucky and the league penalizes him someway that voids his guarantees it almost certainly means an extended legal battle with the player's union.

Idk if its possible but I would think their best option is to trade anyone of value this off season for as many draft picks as they can. Then just pay Watson to go away and take the cap hit next year for as much as possible. You can field a team of rookies and shitty free agents next year to take the hit and then try to bounce back in 2026. But they are not in a good spot either way. The season is done this year and probably next year

This kills the gate sales which might literally be the only thing that matters to Jimmy while he tries to get the people of Cleveland to foot the bill in replacing First Energy Stadium.
I can't express how bad the timing of this very, very necessary tank is for this team.
Sure he deserves it but lmao
