Grossi sounds like he lost a testicle via dog bite before his balls dropped.
Not to totally derail the thread talking about sports e-celebs, but he just really gets on my nerves for some reason. The high-pitched voice, the tendency to do "silly" voices, and his very bizarre refusal to curse. Idk maybe being such a bland and uncontroversial cuck is what got him the fan of the year award in the first place. (that funnily enough, he admitted there are no votes on, it is literally just decided by the NFL and approved by Goodell)

I might get shit for this, but in contrast I really like Perna, he has actual energy in his streams and edited content that doesn't feel forced or soy like Tom. It helps to have a sense of humor that's slightly more edgy than the bland, G-rated content Tom puts out, but even when he's cracking kind of corny jokes, you can just feel how much he knows and cares about the game and teams. He's like a more mellow Gruden, same passion, but less stimulants. The Curse Wheel is also a really fun gimmick for a power ranking list.

If I remember correctly, he used to be a teacher at a middle or high school. Why he continues that style of speaking, I've no clue.

His videos just aren't that good. To compare with a similar personality, Matt Mitchell's SEC Roll Call videos have more personality and inside jokes that make it feel more like actual fans than just caricatures.

That's another thing that pisses me off, it feels so fake. Other than the packers, and primetime games, it doesn't feel like he watches, or understands the fandom of other teams at all, outside of cliches and stereotypes about the region that they're in. Really seems like when he does his "script writer" or "Every NFL fan reacts to Week X" videos, it's just takes and memes he's stolen off twitter. Perna on the other hand seems to come up with hilarious off the field drama or fandom related events that connect to the games and teams he's covering that adds a bit more color to his coverage. Even if that is just stuff he browsed twitter/reddit for, it comes off much more natural and unforced.

He kind of understands if he hates your team enough. He was plugged in to Seattle's drama with Russell Wilson.
I think his issue is he is a prototypical fanboy and that channel is really just meant for Packers fans and what they care about.
You're an Eagles fan, right? Packers have much of a rivalry with Philly? No, they do not.

I get that, but it feels like Grossi is trying to do Packer fanboy stuff, as well as general NFL skits. It'd be a lot better if he just stuck to one or the other.

Also him quitting his teaching job to do arguably the most unstable job (streaming/Youtube) is cringe and what I think caused his divorce.

We might have broke Jordan Love in Brazil, remains to be seen how consistent he is the rest of this season, but I get your point. That said, Perna is arguably in the same boat as a Bronco's fan channel, and yet I never got the impression he was faking his enthusiasm or knowledge about other teams. Sometimes he'll just skip talking about certain teams if he doesn't have anything interesting to say about them, meanwhile Tom has to shoehorn in every gag like the Cowboys hating the Eagles, or "Stillers goin' to da supabowl?" as if he cares or even understands any of that shit. I'm not gonna pretend to understand the Packers, but I'm also not putting out videos about them near-daily like he does with every other fanbase. Idk maybe this is just my autism, but it feels so lame and annoying

Oh, that's why he's such a faggot. Explains a lot, actually.

tbf Perna spend like a half a decade making Broncos exclusive content and really started to grow once he branched out. That's how I found him, through his coverage of the AAF funny enough.

Ironically it's teaching-related stuff where he becomes his most based. He said on stream once he would drop kick your average middle schooler, and middle school is where everyone goes to become the worst, most cringe version of themselves.

Well shit, if he's down for drop kicking middle schoolers, he can't be all bad.
For a Packers fan.
