Dan Quinn has this defense absolutely cooking. Who the fuck is Chinn, how has he had double digit tackles the last two games, and he just bodied Goedert despite being probably 4 inches shorter and 30 lbs lighter.

I feel like if Philly didn't have the offensive line still skilled enough for the tush push they would just never score points.
Kicker can't kick, Hurts is kinda mid at throwing in the red zone, it's like this entire team is dependent on a Vic Fangio defense (risky territory) and the fact that Saquon is on his revenge tour.

Da Bears are a cursed franchise with regard to quarterbacks. Jay Cutler, Jim McMahon, or Jim Harbaugh is their absolute ceiling.

They need to stop swinging for the fences at QB and get a Jared Goff or Brock Purdy type instead of wasting picks and years. Try the 2000 Ravens or 2002 Bucs model. Would have been extremely wise to get Baker Mayfield in 2023 before the Buccaneers did. Cutler and Rex Grossman got them pretty close.

Until da Bears accept the reality of that gypsy cursing George Halas and his descendents, they will continue to spin their wheels and be a laughingstock. Although I'm okay with that because it's really funny seeing their fans continue to hype up obviously mediocre kids then turning on them.
 
Turns out just handing the ball to Saquon and letting Daniels fuck up is the path to victory against the Skins.

Redskins need to get another WR, Terry is a great mind you. Just a simple fact that your best WR is getting doubled up on constantly and no option besides one older RB and TE can make a play. This team is pretty good though other than that. Eagles need to get faster at starting games.

The issue is that Daniels has them playing just good enough that both Burden and Hunter are probably going to be gone-gone at their draft spot, and then McMilan is just another WR1 perimeter dude like McLaurin when what they really need is some shifty slot receiver. Maybe they reach on Isaiah Bond? Probably can't trade down, WRs are almost as bad as edge rushers in terms of teams constantly reaching on them.

The only safety in his era who could be compared to Ed Reed was Troy Polamalu. Reed was someone you feared and would always be where you least expected. He was extremely intelligent and he could return an interception or a fumble for a TD at anytime. Earl Thomas just gets put in with the rest of the Legion of Boom and that's what you think of. Ed Reed was a discernible difference maker and his name was all you needed. I'm not saying Thomas was trash but he wishes that he could be in the same plane as Ed Reed

Really Polamalu was a perfect blend of what I loved about both ETIII and Kam Chancellor - he had the wheels to do the ballhawk free safety stuff but he was also extremely physical in a way that opposing offenses did not know how to deal with
Reed, on the other hand, made some of the greatest QBs in league history look like freshly drafted rookies with his mind games.
 
All I know is I miss the era of mild mannered Brian Dawkins speaking in tongues in the end zone before games and then suplexing people and trying to rip opponents to shreds with his wolverine claws. The NFL Is boring without safety play like that.
