I really can't understand my fellow Browns fans, hoping for a top pick in the draft.

I'm assuming the water pollution in Lake Erie prevents us from forming memories.

This organization can neither draft nor develop QB's.
Well, they had one, they just ran him out of town because he didn't play well with a totally fucked up shoulder.
And now he's playing lights out in Tampa.

The past few games have been full of this stuff so it's pretty knee-jerk now.

But yeah you're right it's still early.
Doing their best to back into a first round exit, thus securing another winning season for Mike Tomlin.

I am no longer part of the Russell Wilson bandwagon. These past few games have been so bad. But I don't trust Tomlin to be able to magically fix this offense as he's failed to do so in 4+ years

The Raiders winning is our only way of being able to win a playoff game against the Texans otherwise we're about to get blown out in the playoffs again by Baltimore

So how much longer does the media continue to defend Mike Tomlin? You can't keep lauding the "no losing seasons!" shit forever when you're constantly playing down to the competition, haven't won a playoff game since fucking Obama was in office, and have a losing record in the playoffs.

Tomlin won a super bowl with the team Cowher built. At least Cowher consistently had us playing in the AFC Championship, we can't even get past the wild card anymore. He hasn't fixed the offense, hasn't fixed the O-line, our top receivers are consistently divas and we blow through OC's because either Tomlin or our front office can't figure out that side of the ball

Very authentic Russell Wilson game, where he keeps spending too much time in the backfield and is entirely reliant on his targets making up for it, and they don't.
We dealt with this shit between him and Doug Baldwin for literal years
This is why if the defense declines shit goes sideways

Yank kiwis, I bandwagoned the Vikings and Washington this year and both were a fun ride.
How miserable would following this sport be if I followed either one as a full fan? The vikings apparently are a 'poverty franchise' but seem good yearly and the Commies have optimism from new ownership.
Support QPR so I'm used to watching dogshit teams

The head coach of the Vikings is leagues better than the head coach of the commanders, even with their QB situation being a bit of a question mark.
I'd bank on them
You could always follow the Seahawks but we are in a bit of rebuild hell at the moment

They can't throw him under the bus because he is a fixture of the NFL. He is the black coach. Which black coach has has more success than him, Dungy? DEI in the NFL is literally named the Rooney Rule. They'll mention the fact that never having a losing season isn't the same as winning a playoff games, or a championship, or another ring and then go on and on how about nobody has done what he's done. It's so hard, yadda yadda.

He's also pretty universally respected and admired around the league by players and coaches as long as you don't think everyone is lying all the time. There are a contingent of fans who are getting dissatisfied from my understanding, but don't expect it to be a narrative anyone in the MSM will run with.

Forever because he is black.

Obviously, having winning seasons is a good thing. What the media doesn't seem to understand is that those winning seasons are supposed to then produce playoff wins, and Super Bowl wins. Or at least be competing for them. The Steelers haven't been relevant for a almost a decade despite having all those winning seasons. They get alot of wins by beating on the crappy teams, then get curb stomped by the good teams. The playoffs have good teams, so the Steelers get curb stomped in their first game. The Steelers could have had losing seasons since their last playoff win, and they would still have 0 playoff wins but at least a new head coach. It's not like they haven't had talent either under Tomlin. He's been an underachiever his whole career and will be as long as he's with the Steelers.

I've seen the media compare Tomlin's career to all time great coaches like Shula, Brown, Belicheck, Lombardi, Halas, Landry, etc, and it unironically riles me up. Tomlin might be better than these guys because they had a losing season but Tomlin didn't! I'll take a losing season here and there if it means my team actually competes for championships, not pretends to compete like the Steelers right now.
