Thank god the Lions got the No. 1 seed and a bye week as a result. Not just so the defense can get healthy but so I can spend all next weekend in the shanty ice fishing.

It'd be different if this was just any game, eggs get laid at times- look at the Ravens and Browns game for example. But this one game happened to be the most meaningful normal season game in history. Going out there and shitting the bed like never before against a bunch of 3rd string DB's with how much there was on the line is simply indefensible. You just CAN'T let that happen that bad. I still love my team and have high hopes going into next week but they're gonna be feeling this one for a while.

That's fine and all but I don't think you recognize how desperate some teams for a QB.

The Browns went all in on a serial rapist, giving him the richest contract in history, and all the picks the Texans used to rebuild after Bill O'Brien fucked them up.
 
I have no idea how Schoen isn't shitcanned after how he handled the Saquon situation. Dude is playing out of his mind for a division rival, and is in the playoffs. Meanwhile the Giants released their derpy looking QB that they GAVE HIM UP FOR.

I honestly think Daboll could be a half decent coach with the players, but how the fuck do the Maras let that idiot GM stay in the building?

That still doesn't excuse poor play in a game like this. And it wasn't all on Darnold, KOC saw his QB was rattled and made zero adjustments to the playcalling to deal with the blitz. Abandoning the run game was dumb.
 
Big Mike's contract officially ends on the 14th. Jerry is scared that the Bears will offer Mike a buttload of money. FYI, Jerry didn't pay him very much as Mike is in the top 5 lowest paid HCs.
