Disappointed with the results but Redskins are in a good spot. Didn’t end up watching the Bills Chiefs game and I can’t really bring myself to care about the SB.

Hopefully in the next few years we can rebuild enough to make it to the SB. Dream game would be Ravens vs Redskins.

Congrats to the Eagles fans, your team was better this year even with the shitty ref calls.

This is something that's been pissing me off lately. I heard several teams' coaching staffs upstairs have started using AI to make these decisions and it's absolute fucking disaster. I don't know who fucking is responsible for this but coming the off season, either it needs to be improved or they need to be fired. The AI has no concept of the clock and the possibility they can miss the 2 point conversion is completely lost on them for some reason. All they do is tunnel vision on on the 4 & 5 point differences. It's been absolutely infuriating. You don't chase points when you have an entire fucking half of football left to play.
The problem with analytics is that they only factor in the down, distance, score, and time remaining. Analytics CANNOT account for weather conditions, certain players and their performance to that point in the game, momentum, etc. There are so many things you just can't quantify down to a formula. Coaches, at all levels, should use analytics to inform their decisions, but only that. It shouldn't be THE decider

That being said, a team down 14 in the 4th quarter should ABSOLUTELY go for 2 every single time upon making it a 1-possession game.

It's still amazing to me that people forget about Brady and the Patriots. The NFL literally invented a rule for the guy, because he got hurt for a year and the Pats sucked. Also, the Patriots literally cheated, by stealing signs from teams and deflating balls (the Colts were doing it, too, in the same game).

Yet here we are. People literally believe the NFL (which really just does whatever the 32 owners want, barring mass public outcry) decided to fuck over 31 teams in favor of a small-market franchise with no historical success. And Jerry Jones, Shad Khan, Robert Kraft, etc., are all just cool with it, despite such an outcome taking money OUT of their pockets. OK, sure. Keep believing that.
The "small market" excuse makes no sense makes no sense when you were just ranting about New England getting away with stuff, and that's not even mentioning the smallest market (Green Bay) routinely getting calls when Rogers was there.

The NFL desperately wanted a black quarterback to excel for marketability, so a mulatto is fine in their eyes. Stafford is doing the same stuff Mahomo does, he's still not as marketed despite being right in LA.

Which identity? Schottenheimer defenses? That goes out the window when you hire a playmaker in every facet of the game like Reid.
If you are talking about the Taylor Swift phenomena that spans a whole 2 years and it is mainly for TV, you are talking couch "Chiefs Culture" which is completely irrelevant to the team.
Im talking about Kansas City culture, I'm not going to get into it because it's more or less irrelevant in this thread.

Agreed, but what you've had happening a lot this season is teams going for 2 point conversions, in the first half for no other reason than chasing points. Then they miss, and wind up losing games because those 1 points turned out to really matter. I've seen it happen against teams all across the league where teams are going for more 2 point conversions and it's absolutely fucking them over in the 4th quarter and they make games closer than they have any right to be. The point is, the AI can't account for variables over the long term course of the game, so it'll always recommend the 2 points regardless of whether or not it's the right decision solely to make it a 3 point game. But whether you're in a 3 point game or not, in the first, second, or arguably halfway through third is completely irrelevant. You're either competitive or you're not. Chasing points will not fix that outside of the 4th quarter. You see a lot more teams now trying for 2 points and the coaches just trusting the analytics more than they should be.

I'm trying to look at the bright side. The Bills made it back to the AFC Championship in what was thought to be a reload year. Also, now there's no chance of them losing the Super Bowl to every NFC East team.

What????!!! There is absolutely 0 similarities in their game and when the Rams bought that championship selling their future, the media was completely in love with that team and Sean...

There's this guy, called Lamar Jackson. He's black and plays QB. He won the league MVP last year and probably will this year, too. Find a new slant.

E: Matthew Stafford is 36 (old) and absolutely DOES NOT play a similar game to Mahomes. He has a big arm, but was never as mobile and cannot release the ball at all the crazy angles Mahomes does. They're not the same.

And yet he is still the best QB in the NFC... sad state of affairs on that conference.

The silver lining to “Pray for a Meteor” Bowl? There’s going to be one person more pissed off than the people pissed that it’s Chiefs-Eagles, and it’s entirely because if the halftime show - if Lamar calls Drake a pedo on live TV that’ll probably be the most amusing thing about this entire weekend.

Though that said, I’m surprised the NFL didn’t go All In on trying to get Swifties to watch and see how much of a bag Swift herself would need to do the Halftime Show. Trying to not seem too obvious, or did they take the Jerruh approach to “All In”?

Your Team is not the Redskins they are the Commanders.
Your team bitched out and changed it's name and now it's name is the Commanders.
You can no longer call them the Red Skins, They caved to a flash in the pan woke movement that is being stomped out as we speak but now they're name is the Commanders.

Think Reek from ASOIAF, they will need to do something based to redeem themselves and be called the Red Skins again.

I still think they could’ve avoided all of this by just changing the logo to a potato to fuck with the people demanding the change, but considering the Chiefs are, well, the Chiefs and have the Tomahawk Chop, it makes even less sense to have changed the name.

I hate crediting Snyder for anything, but he was right about one thing - actual Indians were fine with the Redskins name. Hell, they’re actually petitioning to get the name changed back - unfortunately too many people think Twitter is actually the voice of the majority and not just a bunch of retards screaming into the void…

This. We're in an era of dynamically moving QBs where they're basically double running backs. While I think we're slowly moving out of that era, Mahomes and Stafford are in a different league.

In a contest of QBs in a vacuum, I think Allen slightly edges out Mahomes. Allen throws the ball in some of the craziest angles I've ever seen. That guy can literally be mid-sacking and throw a catchable pass. Shame he's not on a slightly better team. If you need any proof that a better QB cannot guarantee a win over just having better players, then last night was it.

Mahomes is better in processing the field, probably because he was coached by Andy but he has an amazing football IQ. Allen is way better at the ground game tho.

ETA: Mahomes is a miles better game manager as well but he grew into it; maybe Allen can learn.

Eat shit, Go Birds. Mahomo hasn't had a taste of the Vic Fangio experience yet.

As annoying as Philly can be, we'll never be a dynasty, but we'll almost always be in a position to tarnish the legacy of one when we make it to the big game, so yah, of course people are going to root for us over you faggot.

Mahomes is a MUCH better QB than Josh Allen. Allen got the better physical tools but that bullshit doesn't mean anything.

We're talking top 3 all time vs top 50 all time.

I´d go for top 20 but the most ridiculous thing is people saying Lamar is a first ballot HoF and top 10 all time. The discourse around this dude is criminal.
