Horn is pretty good when he's healthy. Not highest paid DB good, but we're so desperate for talent on that side of the ball that I can't blame the FO for overpaying. If he keeps getting hurt, though...

With all the Killer Bs talk recently, what should scroll across my monitor to make me sad today: Ex-NFL star, Ohio native Le'Veon Bell ordered to pay $25 million in sexual abuse case.
  • A female relative of of Bell claims abuse beginning when she was 6 or 7 and lasting years until at least 2017
  • Reported to the police in 2022, but no investigation
  • Filed the civil lawsuit in 2024
  • The allegations are also against his brother LaVonte
  • A default judgement was handed down because neither defendant responded to the lawsuit
  • A lawyer for Bell claims he was never served
  • The lawsuit was serviced at an address that Bell has been associated with (traffic violations, mother lives there, etc), but is owned by an LLC
Looks like sitting it out is gonna cost LeVeon millions again.

Fuckin WHY? The WRs weren't the issue last year. Neither was our TEs. I don't care about the drop, you don't go for 2 with enough time to get another TD, you save that shit for when you need it. Had Harbaugh been a good coach they would have been kicking the extra point to prep for over time.

And Kupp has been released. Couldn't we have gone for him instead?

DeCosta saw that old photo of Henry, Lamar, and D Hop and thought "For the memes, bro."

Mason Rudolph is back with the Steelers, and Mac Jones will be backing up Brock Purdy. Also, Evan Engram joined the Broncos, and Eddie Goldman signed with the Commanders.

Probably Late and Gay, but lulColts signing Danny Derps.

1 Year, $14M, so its not the worst deal in history, but if Richardson loses his spot to Daniel "could fuck up handing the ball to Saquon" Jones he'll probably be on permanent clipboard duty. Or be the next Jets QB, idk which is worse.

Pat McAfee has been slowly letting out what was going on with that. He's being a real fag about it by only talking in generalities, but essentially AR15 viewed it as his right to be a franchise qb and did not act like a pro. H would miss or be late to meetings and treatment, wasn't watching film, and just really didn't seem to give a shit. He wasn't the only player doing it as other recognizable pillar players were acting similarly. How much of that shit culture was already in the locker room because of how poorly the team has been run and how much Richardson brought, who knows.

It shouldn't be surprising he had an ego considering he got drafted 4th overall to be a starting QB after playing only 24 games in college. Muh athleticism. Muh measurables. Two seasons in the NFL and he's played 15 games, been benched once, and took himself out of more plays than just the infamous head tap. IIRC there is supposedly one of the games he came out in his first season was over some bullshit.

The franchise deserves all of this for how they allowed a generational talent in Luck to get killed behind shitty o-lines and letting his retirement leak during that preseason game. The fans deserve it for booing him after finding out the news.

I feel like Unitas had to have placed a curse on the franchise for the way they left Baltimore. Especially given all the weird crap they have had to experience with quarterbacks. They spent the entirety of the pre-Manning era in Indianapolis as a non-existent sideshow. The first five years of Manning was filled with nothing but disappointment and embarrassing playoff loses. The next decade was spent having an offense filled with Hall of Famers and other elite talent, but they underachieved by only managing to barely squeak out a single Super Bowl win while suffering more embarrassing season ending loses in every other season during that time period. The post-Manning era has been marred by more shortcomings, the wasting of a generational QB talent and complete instability as a team.

The Colts are the pinnacle of underachievement: it constantly seems like they have the talent to compete but never actually do. It feels like they Ryan Leaf'd themselves with Richardson, because they shouldn't have taken a QB when two other teams took other QBs ahead of them. There had to be some reason why Richardson was not the number one pick despite being proclaimed by the media to be the best talent in the draft.
