It's crazy to me the Vikings actually got something in return for Ed Ingram, he's one of the worst guards we've ever had. If you want to argue about it sure he's not the worst guard in the world and Vikings have technically had worse guards (Samiar, Clemmings, Remmers), but these guys were not on the team too long. I'd argue he's worse purely because of how long he's been here despite not playing well.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt his rookie year, but he literally just never got better lol. 80% of plays that would blow up were because of him, and he also blew up plays by tripping his own QB multiple times. Oh and he's also allegedly sexually assaulted a minor. Good riddance.

Edit for correction: Remmers was with us for a while as well so he might be worse, either way you get my point

Somehow more pathetic than AB not paying his minor league football team. How much does a high school field cost? Like a groundskeeper's salary and the initial payments for some stands? This is fucking Ohio, not Texas.
According to the article, Bell donated money for a new turf field and a new scoreboard. Total agreed upon amount to pay: $750,000.

In more uplifting news, even though they probably aren't going to be starters, I love the idea of Roy Lopez and Grant Stuard in the same locker room. Probably two of the most wholesome guys in the league, hopefully they pan out and get extended.

Who is in your draft wishlist KF? What player's name do you want to hear called for your team or else you will curse your GM? I personally think this class is loaded enough on defence that we should start by addressing IOL.

Chargers sign Mekhi Becton to a 2 yr deal.

Eaglesbros, what's your opinion of Becton?

Solid interior lineman with injury concerns. Hopefully he retains his healthy attitude as Jeff Stoutland, Eagles o line coach, is one of the best in the business and has knack for getting the best out of guys. It's why we got Kenyon Greene as his next project. Becton gave great effort and rekindled his love of the game here. When describing the change said something to the effect of "This is the first time I've had an organization believe in me." Harbaugh is a culture guy and with his emphasis on hard nose football I expect Becton to do well.

Rodgers coming to MN would honestly be kino. Favre did the same thing at the same age and had his best season ever, the only thing stopping us was the Saints handing out bounties to injure a 40 y/o QB.

Theres no need for bounty gate to stop Rodgers though. You guys play at the giants next year so the turf will just reinjure him

What’re the odds Deion Sanders pulls an Archie Manning and tells his son to do what Eli did if the Browns try to get him?
I fully expect it.
Chargers sign Najee Harris, as well as Donte Jackson

Edit: Looks like Danny Dimes is going to Indy.
They said they wanted to bring in some robust competition. :story:

Might want to ask the Jets. lol. They basically ran him out of town.

Didn't Kirk have a really really favorable contract? Like a no trade clause and they'd still be on the hook for most of the money if they cut him? Probably just cheaper to keep him as a very expensive backup QB/mentor vs cutting him and then having to pay for a different backup who wouldn't be as good anyway.

What @Drama Fan said, also Michael Penix Jr has not only torn the same ACL twice, he's hurt his throwing shoulder in the past too.
If it weren't for Atlanta throwing everyone a curveball it's quite likely Penix's injury history would've had him slide past both Bo Nix and JJ McCarthy in the draft, maybe even all the way into round 2.
