Not sure if this tops the Steeler's Bumblebee jersey in terms of polarizing design, but it's up there.

Will Levis is getting shoulder surgery, officially making the 2025 season one without Will Levis memes.
This means Cam Ward is going to get thrown straight into the fire. I knew there was no chance already of him having a good rookie season but this just further hurts him.

It wouldn't have been too bad if not for the design of the black area on the front of the jersey. Also having the number be two separate colors from each other on the front and back is a little off putting.

I would have maybe tried to have gone with a black stripe around the center like the Giants did with their anniversary uniform last year. Followed by black around the collar.

Remember, that Phillip Rivers almost came back down 14 against prime 14-3 Diggs/Allen Bills for his final stint at QB.
They don't make them like Rivers anymore.

I mean the man played in the AFCCG on a torn ACL.
And it may sound like massive cope, but had he been healthy for that game, we win and more than likely win the SB that year. We only lost by 9.

Honestly had no idea he hadn't already announced his retirement. He hasn't played in years.
Probably more than any other 2000's QB, his career would look entirely different if Tom Brady never existed.
Yeah that shocked me too.

As to the 2nd point, mentioned the winning the super bowl in the 2007 season. But, had Marlon Mcree held on to the pick, would the Chargers have beaten the Colts in that AFCCG? Cause that'd be the difference between a potential 1 ring or potentially 2 rings. Maybe 3 had they had a competent kicker in 2009.

My brother is trying to convince me to go to Vikings training camp on the third, apparently tickets are only $10. I've never tried going as I figured it'd be expensive as fuck but apparently not. The only issue is this time of year it's crazy hot outside and you don't get any shade or anything, so I'm not sure if I want to go. All of my friends who have gone made it sound kind of miserable lol

interesting conflict. Would you be going w/friends? I think if I had buddies already going to something like that I'd go, just cause doing shit with friends is fun, plus you can get shit signed there I think which would be sweet. if not fuck that cause heat is real lmao, I remember I went up to Minnesota 1 summer and it shocked me just how muggy it fucking gets. And those mosquitos too, just thinking about them has me wanting a bullet in my head

Yeah I'd be going with friends. It's a really worth it to go if you have kids or other minor loved ones because they get to meet with the players as part of the camp. And yeah Minnesota gets deceptively hot and muggy most summer days unless you live in the northeastern part of the state near the BWCA, which most people don't. I hate it

These actually look kind of cool tbh, much better than the Giants abortion of an attempt at a similar concept they wore in their season opener and then presumably burnt in a huge bonefire immediately after. Philly, Colorado and Tampa still have the best throwbacks, but I like drawing even further back in the well for uniform concepts some teams have been trying to do.

I know it'll probably never happen because Lurie knows Kelly Green is too popular to try anything new, but I'd like for us to give another crack at the yellowjacket throwbacks one day just because they're so out of place and retarded they circle back around to being kind of cool. IMG_7555.webp

Gotta admit, they’re pretty dope. May have them be worn next time I fire up Madden 11.

Two notable Saints announced their retirements today: tight end, Jimmy Graham (didn't play in 2024,) and safety, Tyrann Mathieu.

What is it with Saints players retiring this year?
We're at the point in the post-Brees era where the mid-career vets, brought on board to keep things afloat while they tried to draft the team of the future, are themselves old and ready for retirement. I honestly wonder if it's going to take Cam Jordan retiring for Loomis to finally admit defeat against father time.
(Jimmy Graham does not count; that one year 2024 contract with the Saints was obviously a retirement tour from the get-go)
