My personal take ismi will wait later in rhe season before writing down my opinion on things (besides my head hurts too much to do it now)

I know this thread has a lot of fans of other NFC North teams and maybe I'm a tad biased because I first got into football around the time the '98 Vikings happened and John Randle was my favorite player as a kid, but the dude's played like 9 quarters of professional football so far, let's not write him off quite yet.
McCarthy struggles to pass to his left which also happens to be the weak side of the Vikings' OL. He'll just get blitzed from there constantly.

The real question is how soon Vikings fans start begging for Carson Wentz

This is what I love about Philly sports fans. Any other team beats the perennial SB champs, in their own stadium, and send them on a full on spiral at 0-2, and their fanbase would be ecstatic. Not us though!
Barry McCockiner seems to be ecstatic on X. He's blowing Jalen Hurts for doing the exact same shit he crucified Tom Brady for doing his entire career.

Agreed, I found the Vikings oline play last night a lot more concerning than Mccarthy. Also injuries piling up like mad and it only being week two isn't a great sign. We need Darrisaw back, Justin Skule is a god awful LT. Dude gets pancaked every fuckin play.

My neighbor is 72 and a lifelong Bengals fan. He was over yesterday and we had the game on my phone. I told him about Burrow being out (at the time it was "for a few weeks at least"). He explain to me that they are 2-0 so they will be fine. Can't possibly go under .500. Let's say I'm not putting money on that idea, especially because they already got one of their 2 free wins each year (against the Browns).

I was going to mock the guy, and then looked up the stats and the Bengals only have a 6-8 record without Joe Burrow during his career. That's much better than I expected. They are a far more one-dimensional team now than they were in past seasons he got injured, though.

That's actually much better than I would have expected too.
The highlighted game is 3 months from now. That's a tough schedule even with your starter. Backup has played 13 total games, in 5 years, including yesterday and they have no 3rd string QB. Might be time to call the Red Rifle. Plus, Steelers fans are happy about their slightly improved wild card chances.

The kind of hammered you only get when you know your ass is on the hottest of hot seats.

Methinks he knows he’s done, it’s just a matter of “Does he make it to the end of the season, or do the Dolphins pull the plug earky?”
Will probably get a clock for this but McDaniel is gone on Friday morning after the Bills make sushi with his team.

If you follow nig commentary, like Shannon Sharpe, it's time to trade for Shedeur Sanders.
Honestly yes, so that the SS fags can gloat about how he's starting while simultaneously complaining that "he's given no help".
He also had a melty mid game throwing his helmet and swearing.

What mid lib pussy does to a MFr.
Pretty sure he was like that prior to TSwift. Didn't he date a darkie for awhile?

God please make another team give Kirk Cousins a big contract, fully guaranteed. Amen 🙏

Also I hate to see this kind of Travis Kelce discussion. Look at the power dynamics of his relationship: he's a mentally challenged man who is being taken advantage of by a much richer partner who has legions of fans who will try to destroy his life if he ever displeases Taylor. HE IS A VICTIM.

You guys are both wrong. It's time to bring back all the Vikings oldheads for one last run.
It's time for redemption, Kirk Cousins. Restructure him into the gayest possible contract of all time in the NFL.
Or maybe it's time for Teddy Bridgewater homecoming.

Divine Deablo living up to the name this nigga got magic

I remember when he was drafted, UT had done a mock draft and he mocked Divine Deablo to the Raiders in like the 1st or 2nd round because of his name, because thats how fuckin stupid the Raiders had been drafting.. and then they drafted him in like the 5th.

I'm cautiously optimistic the tean wont be an absolute dumpster fire. This offense is better than the one Browning operated in 2023. Also, his playstyle is more conducive to running the ball and better blocking. A lot of the oline issues and inconsistent run game in the Burrow era have been his desire to do everything out of the shotgun. In 2023 when Burrow got hurt, our play action rate and under center rate went up. Weirdly, Burrow being out is going to give us a much more balanced offense that dosnt have to rely on Burrow balling every game.

There's a rough 3 game stretch starting week 5, going Lions, Packers, Steelers. Then another rough 3 game stretch starting on Thanksgiving with the Ravens, Bills, Ravens. The rest of the schedule is very winnable games. This team probably isn't winning a super bowl, but I could see us fooling around and making the playoffs.
