More teams need to learn to make clean breaks from bad GM/coach duos. She already fired the GM who chased Vrabel out of town in a power struggle and got her team into this mess last January, Amy Adams should've tossed the empty suit nepo baby that GM thought he could control alongside him. Have Cam Ward enter the NFL with a GM/Coach who wanted him, instead of losing a season of his rookie contract to a system put in place by a dead man walking and that had him looking worse at his position with every game.

Guess the only way Atlanta will be good is if you put them on primetime.

Ok in fairness on this one, it's also entirely possible that the Shanahan system means any mediocre QB will look like a million bucks. See also Brock Purdy.

Which now that I've said it makes Trey Lance washing out of that system f**king comical...
So you’re saying that Shanahan is actually a quality head coach…unlike Belicheck, eh?

Shanahan was also able to turn Jimmy Garoppolo into one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

I watched 3 quarters of Jets-Broncos and I can't take it any more. What an absolute shit game. I kind of hope Denver loses at this point, that's how spiteful I'm feeling.
That reminds me….Sean Payton is another wildly overrated coach whose less than stellar head coaching abilities were mitigated due to the brilliance of a legendary quarterback at New Orleans.

This year feels both like generally unpredictable and injuries making it closer when it shouldn’t be. Going be interesting in November when like everyone who is injured in Week 1-4 come back.

Pray for me next Monday.

Dart and Skattebo have started White Boy Autumn, and I'm so here for it. Someone I know referred to them as "Beavis and Head-Butt" and I'm just bursting with Giants pride right now. lol.

EDIT: Adding this ... Just because

Dammit, Bills, the Falcons had the lead in the first half and you didn't make them choke? Thank goodness next week's a bye, because the Bills need to get their shit together.

Every game except that panthers one has made me so hopeful for this Falcons defense, for the first time in maybe ever. Ulbrich knows what he's doing, they're having so much success for such a young unit. Absolutely aced the draft, hope we develop these guys for a long time

Also, I was not expecting the Bears to win. We have the Bears schedule posted in multiple parts of the breakroom at work, and I've been marking the results for the last couple seasons. I'm off tomorrow, so I'll have to remember to write 25-24 W on them on Wednesday. Come to think of it, that was also the result of the Bears-Raiders game.

While I'm not crazy enough to be seriously expecting the playoffs for the Giants this year (talk like that is just too optimistic for a Giants fan like myself), it is pretty wild that the NFC East is back to being competitive. This division is almost always bonkers though, so why should I be surprised? lol.

As of now, I still think that the Eagles and the Redskins are the best teams in the NFC East, but they certainly have a "can't play a full game" problem that's going to continue biting them in the asses if they don't turn it around soon.

A more concise criticism of Bill Belichick.

All you need to look at to see that it was symbiotic was Brady's per game stat sheets in the Super Bowl.

Some games he put the team on his back, some games the defense carried him. Particularly the Rams game. I suppose Brady held McVay and Prime Stafford to THREE points all by himself?

I'm a Dolphins fan so I loathe both of those fuckers but to claim that Bill is some idiot that lucked into Brady carrying him is fucking retarded.

This really shouldn't be a thing in the year of our lord 2025, there really is no excuse.

"We can't review that."
"Fucking why?"
"Because reasons."

No, FUCK YOU, everything is on camera, everything is recorded. If it can affect the outcome of the game, IT SHOULD BE REVIEWABLE, AND OVERTURNABLE, FUCK YOU.

Whenever you get the sequence above, the rules should be changed on fucking MONDAY to fix it.
You think you want this but you really don't. Sports are inherently human games and there are a dozens and dozens of fouls and mistakes committed during the games and everything being reviewable would be a fucking nightmare. And you're still going to run into subjective interpretations of what happened like PI calls, Same reason why the MLB going to the robo umps is going to be a disaster. Robo strike zones are boring, I'd rather have a human element where pitchers have to adjust to how the ump is calling the zone. It's about the spirit of the rules rather than a robotic exact interpretation of them. See VAR in soccer. So many great goals erased because someone's sleeve was 1 cm ahead of the last defender. Just let the players play.

All the Bucs receivers come back in time for the playoffs and they win the Super Bowl because it's literally impossible to cover Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Eeka Ugabuga, and Jalen McMillen at the same time with Baker Mayfield throwing at them.
