Seahawks-Rams coming down to a literal last second kick

That Seahawks-Rams game took years off of my life, I swear. I feel physically ill, still.
Darnold threw 4 picks, they weren't even "oh wow, nice play by the DB" picks, they were boneheaded picks, usually with a guy open elsewhere.
Our defense played lights out and made Stafford look mid during a MVP-caliber season.
Zabel might be hurt, which is terrifying, I don't want to go back to our interior line being entirely made out of wet kleenex again.

AND WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WAS THAT CLOCK MANAGEMENT IN THE FINAL QUARTER? I am actually wondering if this team hasn't practiced hurry up offense at all this season.

Quite a few sus non calls. It was pretty clear who's side the refs were on in that Browns game.
They have me defending the fucking browns! lol

The salary cap is the same, but how the contract is structured is where the owner's money comes in. Any guaranteed money on a contract has to be placed in escrow the day it's signed. That's part of why all the owners were pissed when Cleveland gave Watson a fully guaranteed contract. So, when a team like the Bengals, whose fortune comes from owning the team, they have less guaranteed money they can decide to give a guy than a team run by somebody like the Waltons and their Walmart money. It's one of the biggest issues Katie Blackburn has had with contracts over the last decade. They rarely want to put guarantees past year one of contracts.
There's also insurance, which under the CBA if insurance pays out it's considered the same as a player refunding a portion of their salary and gives you cap relief next season.

ESPN does have an article about it but in general sports journos don't talk about it that much since there's no details and idk if they understand how it works anyway.

But so yeah this is how the richer teams can magic up cap space out of nowhere.

Most everyone knew he was a f**king bust. Just because his dad is a hall of famer doesn't mean he has a quater of the talent. The league forced the browns to take him as punishment for the Watson fiasco.
It’s my understanding that he’s not a very mobile QB, which is odd because his dad was supposed to be lightning quick as a player.

A black quarterback who can’t read defenses, is an inaccurate passer, can’t go through his receiver progressions, and can’t run = no better than a chunk of salted watermelon at that position

Sure, but The Packers could put out Packbonds™ tomorrow to cover some obnoxious fully guaranteed contract for (insert hot player of the week here) today and it would be covered by Wednesday.
A chance for me to own the packers? Awesome
The Browns have trotted out Shedeur

This is sad. Shedeur now at 2 for 5, an interception, and -9 yards for the day so far.
I have seen all I need to see. Retire his number immediately
