Well he will have to have a long successful career to live up to legendary bears qbs like Jay Cutler and Rex grossman
Don't you forget bears legends Kordell Stewart or Kyle Orton or Mike Glennon.

I also hear Sid Luckman was pretty good to.

We all know who the greatest Bears QB of all time was, stop it.

Man thank you for saying this. I was just talking to my friend about how doom and gloom Lions fans get after a loss. It’s really my biggest complaint about the fanbase. I’ve been watching since 2011. Things have been worse. A LOT worse. You’re gonna have games like this.

One of the best defenses in the NFL + a handful of unfortunately timed injuries on our offense. We’ll bounce back. Our defense played amazing considering the personnel on the field. I should also be more pissed about the PI call but I’m almost use to this shit as a Lions fan. I expect about one a game when we’re on prime time and not favored.

I like Campbells playcalling more than Morton but I low-key wish Morton would get playcalling back. This is a strange complaint or observation, but I don’t like when head coaches call plays too. I feel there’s probably a million and one things you have to manage as a head coach during a game. In my head I imagine that having to call plays diverts some amount of brainpower away from other in game decisions.
I feel like Morton just needs to understand that you can’t do “two runs and pass” every fucking series. He’s not bad, but he lacks imagination and is predictable. It’s easy to bring pressure when you have a 50/50 chance of correctly guessing the play and Goff is not a mobile QB with an all pro center anymore.

Penix is out the year. Great drafting a guy with a stellar injury history. 5 of his 8 years playing football ended to season ending injuries.

Kirks arm is the worst in the nfl. That 1st round pick we traded for a nobody named James Pearce will be a top 5 pick for the.........rams. worst coach and gm.in the league. Lost 5 in a row and might lose to the saints.

As a falcons fan I hate that ny wont give me a gun to shoot myself (in minecraft)

His injury history was the biggest red flag against him, since the only one who had a similar one was RG3, and, well...
He at least had the pro that he isn't reliant on his legs like RG3 was as a prospect (and professionally), but tbh the injury history was such a red flag that the Falcons trading up for him was almost as much of a surprise relative to his projected draft stock as it was because they'd paid Cousins all that money a few weeks earlier.

I imagine the plan was to sit Penix behind Cousins for a year. They're both pocket passers, so it sounds good in theory.

But having an old dude coming off an injury and an injury-prone rookie does not seem like a winning formula.

Shit is rigged just like Luka going to the Lakers. Draft a qb made of glass. Sign a qb made of glass. Teams presidents son works for other team. Raheem will be a coach again for rams after being fired. Hopefully fontenot is fired out of a Canon against a wall
