Very weird situation that out of the remaining Packers games I'm most worried about 2 Bears matchups.

Look, it’s a generational hatred, my family is Bears and Vikings fans. How I came out of that a fan of the Reskins is anyones guess.

Also Love playing better during Toyotathon is one of those weird coincidences that should be studied…

Generational trauma is the term that social scientists use to describe whatever happened to you. At least your guys had a good run last year.

First year starting it was him just getting better as a starter in real big boy games. I wonder if there's also a play calling aspect where LaFleur is more trusting/aggressive as we get closer to playoff time. If some sportstuber wants to analyze every play call and figure it out I'd be interested in that. It sounds like a prime Jon Bois/Secret Base premise. Otherwise maybe Love just locks in as it's getting cold, idk how much you can even try to say with 2 and a half seasons. Inshallah, Packers keep racking up W's and get that sweet division spot instead of a wildcard.

Fucking looks like it. Honestly Lamar doesn't even look like he can throw. Overthrowing, underthrowing, something's wrong or he's choking.
He has some sort of lingering injury that he's been dealing with and has looked like garbage recently. Look at how hard he was trying to avoid contact.

Of course, you'd think Harbaugh and Monken would be aware of this and run the ball more, but they did not.

Nah why would they do that? They're only averaging 6+ yards per rush, they need to throw the ball 40 times when Lamar clearly doesn't have it.

As the late and great John Madden has proclaimed.

Thanksgiving is when the NFL season truly starts. I'm sure you can make this style of rant for every team, but I personally feel out of all teams in the mix rn the Lions have some fundamental issues that cannot be fixed. I can list it in short bullet points, but it won't cover every issue the team has. But here we go.

-Playcalling
Dan Campbell is not a play caller. Some people may contend this with me, but Campbell is a great HC, but not a great play caller. I don't want to really get into the nitty-gritty details, but the Lions weren't great and still not great when Dan had to playcall and manage the game.

-O-line and Goff under pressure
Goff can't play well under pressure, but even then, he could play somewhat better if the O-line could give him more time. Though I lean more towards the Goff is bad under pressure side of the argument, more so than just the o-line being bad. Regardless, 25+ sacks (or at least when I had Grok fetch me the info) is pretty bad for both parties. So I am making this really a catch-all bullet point. Goof and the O-line are out of sync.

-Injuries, Drops, Refs, the Untrollables
Shit is not going our way, my fellow Detroit Niggers. But basically, whatever shit happened that wasn't our fault or in our control. put here.

-Defense.
It's actually the one area I have the fewest complaints about. I mainly do not like some of the dirty shit that our DBs do. I also am not a fan of Arnold; we should've taken the white boy that plays for Philly when we had the chance.

Anyways, like a Lions fan, this is my yearly crashout for our Thanksgiving loss. So keep that in mind. But I doubt that my broad points would really upset people in here.

The Cowboys should make the playoffs. All the remaining games are extremely winnable. Toughest match is a sliding Lions team without St. Brown then Vikings, Chargers, Commanders, and Giants. With the Dolphins essentially already eliminated, I'm hoping for a miracle Cowboys Super Bowl run which would be the most hilarious and chaotic result. That Micah Parsons trade has turned out to be great for both teams. Packers got a piece for their push, Cowboys got defensive pieces that have completely revitalized the defense, cap money for free agent pickups, an extra first round pick, and aren't going to be cap crunched by a massive Parsons contract. That along with Schottenheimer turning out to be a good coach really should show people that Jerry Jones really isn't the dumbass people online make him out to believe.

Although I'll probably have to quote this at the end of the season when they get bounced in the first round after they lose to the Bucs or Bears or something.

Just saw the graphic that the Bungals are still in the hunt. lmao.

It's possible but I don't think it will happen even if they win out. 8 losses is too much. 10-7 is going to be the magic number in the AFC. I don't see all the teams ahead of them collapsing. Even the Dolphins have a better chance.

Let's see how Jerry Boy's puppet at the HC position handle things

I don't know that the injuries are all the fault of bad luck. I'm starting to think that the coaching staff sucks, and their overreliance on a few talented players raised the chances of them being injured. For all the knob slobbering the commentators give to Gibbs and St. Brown, it's Laporta and Montgomery who were doing the heavy lifting for the offense. Laporta is likely done for the season, and Montgomery seems to be playing hurt so he's getting limited touches.

An addition to what you said about the O-Line issues: it's obvious that Tate Ratledge is also still injured. He should not have been playing today. But you're right. Goff gets tunnel vision under pressure and the line doesn't know how to contain the blitz.

The guys in the secondary are too small and slow. The only time they managed to successfully defend a play, it was pass interference that the refs didn't see. People disagree with me, but I stand by my previous statement regarding Kelvin Sheppard being bad at his job.

They still have a chance to win the division. They're only a couple games back, and between them, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, they have the easiest remaining schedule by far. Though Pittsburgh would need to lose 2 or 3, Baltimore would need to lose 2, and the Bengals would have to win out

Campbell is a good HC but he needs good coordinators to help him out. Ben Johnson leaving was a really big problem for you guys. He made Goff a lot better than what he probably is with his play calling and offensive schemes

The fact you have to bring your center out of retirement is all you need to know about the O-line play

It's technically possible, but unless the Ravens fix their meltdown quick or Shedeur turns out to be the GOAT black twitter promised I think the Steelers just easily take it.

If they win both their games against the Ravens and their game against the Browns then they win the division even if they drop every other game.

He’s never been able to throw, his entire career he’s been a one read and run black QB. Granted his legs held up way longer than I thought, but now that he has the hamstring injury he’s being forced to throw, which he can’t do when there’s diminished threat of running.

Birds fans are heading for the parking lot. You love to see it.

Edit: That missed field goal is just a slap in the face. Great football from the bears tonight.
