And with Houston's win today it is official: the Colts are missing the playoffs this year.

That is heartbreaking. Even though they beat my Bears in the only Superbowl appearance of my lifetime, I was rooting for the colts this year. With how their fans doom posted when it was announced that Danny Derps would be the starter I couldn't help but wish the guy the best and it was hilarious when he just kept winning. And I was really hoping Old Man Rivers could go on a real playoff run when they brought him out of retirement. Just a bummer how this season played out for em.

The worst part is, it's not even entirely their fault - since their bye week, there's been 16 games involving Indy, Jacksonville, Houston, and the Chargers that could've increased their odds of making the playoffs, and every single one didn't go the way they needed it. The Colts may be the first team to go 0-17 by proxy. Sure, it's not helped by the Colt's Defense apparently not being able to stop fuck all, but between starting Danny Derps Week 1 and having to bring in Phillip Rivers, it almost looked like the Colts were finally about to get off the QB carousel.

Also RIP Anthony Richardson's Career - if Danny Derps and Old Man Rivers could do this with almost the exact same roster, AR has no excuse.

This Packers team has zero heart. Backed into the playoffs yet again and not even trying to win the division title when it's still technically possible. Loser mentality. Don't even bother with the playoff game, it'll be another embarrassing performance.
Especially in front of the home crowd

They even tried addressing the defense during the trade deadline, so its not like the front office was just sitting back and letting things happen. Its really disappointing to see them fall off so hard

Despite the rough ending, I still think the Colts are on their way to having a bright future. Losing those draft picks to the Jets may hurt them down the road, but I think this season has proven that they have a lot of the right pieces moving forward. Outside of a few defensive pieces, the biggest hole remaining is finding permanent stability at the QB position.

Yeah I feel Ravens might win this. They have more reason to play, and packers doesn't seem into it. especially since in the end they're already going to the playoffs.

It was already over, but of course Henry had to put up a 4th TD. Run defense was non-existent and run game was non-existent for the Packers so IDK what else was going to happen.

Malik Willis had another good effort and I'm sure some team is going to take a chance on him after the season. Sad he couldn't get a W against either the Bears or Ravens there despite playing well.

Although Packers didn't give it their all tonight, I do somewhat like Malik Willis. I think that kid can have potential if he got to play more and with a team more tailored to his play. Cause him and Love play sort of differently as Quarterbacks.

Seems GB has the same issue as Buffalo: no defense at all and putting the entire weight of every game on the offense.

Only a handful of teams have a defense this year it seems. I put the blame on the weak ass training camps they go through. Anytime people claim today's players would dominate if they went back to the 70s, 80s or 90s, no they wouldn't. Imagine QBs having to stand in the pocket, throw the ball and the defense is still allowed to smear the queer all over the backfield. I would love to see one of today's receivers go back to 52 and get clothes lined by Night Train Lane. Imagine AB trying to play against those old Lions CBs? would be a massacre.
