Per usual, I base my NFL playoff picks on which uniforms I like the best:

NFC:

- #1 is the LA Rams. Their uniforms are clearly the best of the NFC playoff teams with good colours and interesting lines. The ram is a noble animal that is not to be messed with….especially in its native environment of downtown druggie Los Angeles.

- #2 is the Philadelphia Eagles. Excellent colour combination with the nice forest green, silver, and white. Plus, the eagle is America’s national animal.

Honourable Mention: San Francisco 49ers with their classic red and gold hues. Seattle Seahawks IF they wear their beautiful blue throwback jerseys.

AFC:

- #1 is a tie between the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills. Both teams sport the all-American colours of red, white, and blue (Pats sometimes add a tinge of silver). Being pro-America will always be a crowd pleaser. Both teams have relatively cool helmets.

#2 is the Los Angeles Chargers. Their lovely powder blue uni’s combined with the lightning bolt motif can be eye catching. Chargers players look fast in that jersey.

Honourable Mention: Jacksonville Jaguars. Teal is a colour that can get your attention, but it can also be overkill after awhile. Nevertheless, the Jaguars get kudos for opting for the bold choice of all-teal jerseys and trying to make it work.

Based on their jerseys, these teams will not go far in the playoffs.

NFC:

- Green Bay Packers. Their colours are hideous. Puke green with asparagus pee yellow. And their helmet is so boring. Their uniforms are so unappealing that I almost cry when they’re onscreen.

AFC:

- Houston Texans. To be clear, their uniforms aren’t even remotely as horrible as, say, the Packers or certain non-playoff teams (I’m looking at you Cleveland Browns, yuck!), but they’re just kind of “meh”. Nothing really stands out about them. However, their red uniforms are just garish and should never be worn.

I could not disagree more. The current colors look like IKEA uniforms. The plastick-y effect they add on a lot of the stripes and horns gives them a cheap vibe. And, somehow, they can never settle on a consistent color pattern and there is always, somewhere, a splotch of color that looks like a MSPaint fill error. It was especially bad with the "bone" colored jerseys, where they went with a white nameplate anyways, amplifying the dirty dish towel effect of the grey uniforms.
I'm generally a fan of the league going for more saturated colors and putting the darker, dulled uniforms of the 2000's and early 2010's in their well-earned graves, but the Rams looked better in Missouri than they do now.
Also their primary logo is the worst, and most uninspired, in the entire league, and there's a team whose primary logo is their own logo-less helmet, for Christ's sake.
And their secondary would be fine, if somebody never points out the dick nose to you.

If someone like Pete Carroll with his resume as a head coach can get fired after one season with a new team, how can the Jets justify bringing back Aaron Glenn after his disastrous first year? Glenn was historically awful. Everybody knows the Jets are just going to fire him like 8 weeks into the next season anyway.
Yeah. I don't know how they thought Carroll just stepping on the premises was going to make them a winning team.
I heard a staggering Jets fact yesterday. They played 51% of their games down by 2 scores.

Should have predicted the loser of the Steelers Ravens game to get fired instead of going all in on Tomlin. Anyways, please fire Todd Bowles. Just simply so my prediction on an internet forum looks better

John Harbaugh fired after 18 years.
Since we couldn't get Jim, I wouldn't mind getting the other brother to come coach for the Falcons, although I can definitely picture him crashing and burning down here (then again, I can see just about anyone crashing and burning here, it's just the way we do things)

I could see it, considering ATL is in a weaker division plus you have pieces of a team one can work with. I've also heard rumors of John going to NYG.

So, to distract us all from Black Monday, any Playoff predictions? Personally I'm rooting for the funniest option of a Steelers-Panthers Super Bowl, but that's solely because this season is on all sorts of drugs and I'm embracing it for the playoffs as well.
All I care about is Chicago winning the Loser Leaves Town match against Green Bay. Never thought the Bears would make the playoffs, let alone get the #2 Seed. I want that smug faggot Grossi crying, and that's it. Don't care if Chicago gets blown out in the Divisional or Championship round, this season has been dessert since the Bears got a winning record.

I hope he says no to any interview with the Browns, just because he doesn't deserve to be punished any more than he already has.

Honestly I hope he says no. A coach of his caliber doesn't need to end his career on a team like mine. We'll probably end up hiring some second rate OC/DC.

Thank god I am not the only person who is hoping for this. The idea of a SB with the chaos inducing Panthers and the 'please god let us win this week' Steelers is hilarious to me.
