I honestly do think McDaniel being a OC for Eagles be a mean pick. Cause really the main problem Eagles have right now, is a proper captain steering the offensive line ship and trying more diverse plays than Pattullo ever did.

If he can do a good job there, they can be a fierce well rounded team.

Dan Campbell was the first guy on the phone and that's honestly where he needs to go.

I don't think he would do very well on the Eagles 'cause of AJB.

We're interviewing Saleh who I think would be a good fit with the culture issues we have.
You really want to throw Robert Saleh at the Tua problem? I think he'd rather stay in San Francisco rather than go through another Zach Wilson cycle of trying and failing to make the last GM's mess work.

Meanwhile my Commies still have Dan Quinn.

Nothing against the guy - barring keeping Daniels in in a game we were getting blown out in and him getting hurt in it, the fuck was that decision making - but if you were to tell me he's just here as a Culture Guy I'd believe it considering everything Snyder and Riverboat Ron did to this team.

You had a bottom 5 team on defense in terms of EPA, total yards, int%, and only reached middling on sack% and total points. While fielding the oldest roster in the league by a good margin.
I don't really understand why Kliff was the sacrificial cow this year, and not Dan or especially the GM. Even now he's mostly talking about his primary concern in the offseason being extensions for old players.
If Dan's there, it must be because he's a culture guy. His defense is pretty bad.

Honestly, still not the worst season I’ve ever seen from this team. That says a lot, huh.

I’m 90% sure that the Cinderella Run of Daniels Rookie Year has bought Dan some time, but if you were to tell me that the Ownership Group of the Commies were focusing more on the new stadium that we admittedly need than anything else, again, I’d believe it.

Gotta love how teams have to announce they are interviewing a black coach because of the Rooney rule
I always wonder if Bieniemy knew he was the Rooney Rule guy because it was like fairly fucking obvious. He interviewed with 16 teams.

e: also McDaniel fulfills the Rooney Rule so I think he might have elevated as the next token to be passed around

I know people who are excited about Harbaugh to the Giants but I just don't get it.

I can't think of a single time I thought "Wow, Harbaugh did great there" throughout his entire career. The Flacco superbowl felt more like luck. The Giants qb and rb raise serious concerns on availability with how they play.
It's not like DeCosta is coming along for the ride, either. Between him and Ozzy Newsome, Harbaugh has been the beneficiary of at least upper third rosters pretty much his entire career. Schoen is there for an (almost certain) lame duck season, do I have faith Mara is going to replace him with a consistent front office to pair with Harbaugh? Not in the slightest.

Some of that was designed QB runs for a guy that "slides" like he has a death wish. Daboll and Kafka were both calling them.

Harbaugh got Lamar to start playing more conservatively so he can probably do the same with Dart. Skattebo's brains are already out to lunch so whatever there.

Between the Giants fucking up and losing winnable games in the 4th Quarter, and Harbaugh fucking up and losing winnable games in the 4th quarter, maybe they're just hoping the fuck ups cancel out.

I get the hiring itself - of the unemployed HC's, it's what, Harbaugh, maybe Stefanski, and a wide gap before literally everyone else in terms of "Best Shot at improving our team"? It's just Harbaugh is... well, Harbaugh. I can't get excited over a Choking Hazard - unless of course the Ravens continue Choking games and Harbaugh magically stops doing that, then I can laugh at how it's just the Ravens that suck while another team in my Commies Division gets potentially decent.
