So, either the Bronco’s have their excuse for if they get blown out next week, or we’re going to laugh if the backup proves to be more consistent and the Fraud Watch was just “Thro Pix is just kinda shit”.

Also Schefter is apparently reporting that the Falcons have signed Stefanski. Only source I got is Tree’s Twitter, so no article, but that’s the top 2 of the fired coaches off the market isn’t it?

The Atlanta Falcons hired Kevin Stefanski as head coach, the team announced Saturday.

He signed a five-year contract, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Stefanski spent the past two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, who parted ways with the two-time Coach of the Year after collecting just eight wins in the past two years combined.

The 43-year-old will replace Raheem Morris, who lost his job after the Falcons missed the playoffs with an 8-9 record. Atlanta hasn't had a winning season since the 2017 campaign.

Stefanski will face his former team in 2026, as the Browns are scheduled to host the Falcons next season.

The whole surgery scheduled Tuesday thing, not 30 minutes after the injury apparently happened on a Saturday night is also suspicious. Hoping it’s AI bullshit but we will see.
Nothing weird about it. Stadiums have X-rays on site and every team has an orthopedic surgeon who would obviously have admitting privileges at the local hospital so they can get in ASAP.

The weird thing is players declining surgery in lieu of like injecting dolphin semen into their knee or whatever.

Not really. I don't know if you've ever broken a bone, but that's not something that gets scheduled weeks out even for normal people. NFL teams have a sports medicine ortho on the sideline. Even if the sports medicine guy isn't doing the surgery, he knows who to call. The only reason it's not happening Monday morning is the federal holiday.

At this point, I don't care who makes the Super Bowl. I just want them to have an offense. The idea of Seattle and Houston/Broncos defenses going up against each other sounds super boring

Ok, but I’m used to seeing second opinion flights and the surgery is apparently scheduled for Tuesday in Birmingham as opposed to Denver. That seems incredibly fast with an AFC championship coming up, but I guess that’s where we are based on the amount of reports.

Your only hope is Bears holding the power of the pope and not the Seahawks.

I'm a retard that fixes equipment not people, but I can read x-rays good enough to find broken bones, especially ones requiring surgery(displaced fractures). Second opinions make sense for things involving tendons, ligaments, cartilage, etc.
There is around $25MM in dead money for Wilson right now so that will make next year interesting. And maybe we get a Foles v2 out of this.

At this point, the funniest option is the Broncos finding a way to beat the Patriots/Texans only to end up playing the Seahawks and repeating the 43-8.

Doesn’t UAB have some world-class medical and sports care going on down there tho? I’m not really surprised by that.

Seattle is not letting off the gas. (Wish my team did that when they had a dominant lead... maybe they'd be still playing)
Biggest bandwagoner team Jesus Christ.
May I introduce you to both the Chiefs and Lions "fans" that multiplied 10x once they started getting good.

Yeah, it's fairly obvious on an X-ray. Team facilities also have MRIs which Nix will get tonight then rads will interpret it and toss it to ortho in the morning to rule out any soft tissue injury.

Pro athletes have access to the best healthcare in existence.

If the game ended right now, this would be a worse blow out than the Steelers got on Monday. Possibly worse cause it's been going bad for the 49ers the whole game instead of just the last five minutes of Q4.
