No other team was even pursuing Mike McCarthy now that Saleh took the Titans job...they passed on Shula (shame on you, get this man out of my goddamn division) and Scheelhaase for a 2nd go-around retread. Probably because he's from Pittsburgh (worked at Pitt, dad was a firefighter for the city).

Think positively Steelers fans - they only gave McCarthy 5 Years. Which knowing Rooney there’s going to be Extensions out the ass but still.

Also who’s got who for Fraud Bowl? Between how the Broncos have apparently attracted the Chiefs Bandwagon Fans and the goddamn Patriots potentially being back in the Super Bowl within 5 years of the end of the Evil Empire, both teams are insufferable and I’m rooting for the Meteor

E - lul, the Packers have hired Jonathon Gannon as their new DC

I think you mean Jonathan Gannon, that's the name in the article (unless he's got a nickname?)

I care about this game less than the NFC Championship but I do think Jarrett Stidham starting in and possibly winning a Super Bowl would be an incredibly fitting way to end this season

I don't know what's worse, this game or the people in the game thread on Reddit whining about ICE "murdering" someone.

First game I felt reasonably confident about all season, too, at the start. Ironies abound. And not in a good way.

edit: Patriots are managing to look both confused and flat, somehow.

This is what I was thinking about when I saw that one commercial.

So, which team is going to be the one to show up at half time, cause that’s clearly the AFC meta.

Will the Broncos throw a Stiddy Party and go to the Super Bowl? Will Drake “Drake Maye” Maye become the ultimate Meme QB? Will the Space Rock save us from both of these teams?

I don’t know but I had more fun typing that than I did watching this.

I have to say I'm really tired of the trend of teams leaving points on the board because they think short field goals are stupid or whatever. It doesn't matter how many plays you run, the points matter. Not saying you kick it every time, but we've seen numerous times in these playoffs that being aggressive for the sake of it backfires.
