That explains a lot, the line at westlake was so backed up it made it all the way to street level, so I just gave up and walked back to North Seattle until I finally found a discarded rental scooter somewhere around the U District.
Incidentally - feet hurt like FUCK tonight. Those are definitely not walking boots.

lmao nobody was not wearing blue today. Except the 11 year olds who think the Ducks Jerseys we wore against LA on TNF was a good look.
But yeah, I got a custom #99 Seattle throwback for the Super Bowl and after spending 3 hours wandering around downtown I literally did not see another guy with that number. A ton of 11s and 12s, a couple 3s, some old head jerseys like Tez Kennedy and Largent, a few jokers who taped "Darnold" over a Metcalf jersey and one especially funny joker who put a "Rasheed" label over it instead, but no #99. Not even a Byron Murphy jersey.

I knew having an interior lineman's jersey was a little niche, but I felt a bit like a dirty hipster.

I need to find one of those Sam Darnold smoking a cigar and flipping the bird t-shirts I saw the players wearing at the parade. Hopefully not made by Fanatics who make straight trash now for sports gear! Michael Jewbin should be in prison for ripping fans off like that.

Bro if only he had been born like 5 years later and we nabbed him off of the Jets w/o the Giants tenure, his stats/accolades with us have been easy HOF trajectory but I don't know if he's going to keep playing long enough to get there, and he did jack shit most of the time on the Jets/Giants because, you know, New Jersey :(

That situation really drives home how greedy and outright contemptuous all of the sports leagues are toward their fans that they have let the company notorious for poor quality monopolize their jersey sales to the point where knock-offs from China are better quality.

I forgot this dude existed. I tried to watch one of his streams awhile ago and he was so off putting and man childish to me, plus he gives off the "I REALLY wanna be on clickbait sports" vibe.
 
Just popping in to say how much I'm loving all of the people who barely have an interest in sportsball whining about the halftime show.

They're either virtue signalling about how sexual the halftime show was so they chose to watch a more wholesome one

Virtue signalling about how they're not racist so they watched the real one

I've seen at least three people twist the Bible to justify why it was right to watch the official halftime show. This is peak kino.

Bud Light is still our beer. That hasn't changed. When the Mulvaney stuff happened pretty sure we still had regular cans.

I'm not a huge spectator sports guy but it would have been funny to see the Patriots win just because they're universally despised. The meltdown would have been hilarious.

The locals here are fans of a team that's never won a Super Bowl but they still think they're the best. Funny shit that is.
