SUFFAH RAVENS FANS!!!!

It's either a failed physical or some absolutely blitheringly retarded front office bullshit
It almost has to be a physical. The damage the Ravens would do to their reputation with other teams backing out on the Raiders less than 24 hours before the new league year wouldn't be worth it.

Either the Falcons are planning a Tank Job that makes this season’s Raiders look subtle, or they’re just going all in on Peak Falconing

I legitimately can’t tell.
I think I may know what the office is trying to do here with Tua. So since both Tua and Penix are lefties, Cunningham and Stefanski are trying to make the offense as lefty-integraded as possible while Penix is still injured, so by the time he comes back the whole team is on the same tempo. On top of that, Tua could provide decent film for Mike to study, and provide as a good mentor (if his brain isn't too scrambled). Another plus of bringing in Tua is that he should provide a fairly easy QB battle for Penix preseason, which would build confidence into his game, which is something I've felt he's lacked to a detriment (but who can really be confident in a Zac Robinson system??) . And if Tua beats Penix out in preseason, at least we can have the solace of knowing Mike was ultimately never gonna be the guy.

However, even if using Tua to build Mike up doesn't work, and Tua sucks for us this year, both are on cheap contracts and can be disposed of pretty easy, leaving us with a high draft pick next year and a GM who isn't a massive fucking retard and won't squander it. Seems like this is a win win at the end of the day, either we win in-season or we eat 18 weeks worth of crow and then win in the draft.

Teddy Bridgewater is returning to the Lions. As for my team, the Bills re-signed Dawson Knox and Tyler Bass.

Looks like you are a lying faggot. The battered wife (Crosby) is going back to her abusive husband (the raiders).
Medical concerns for anyone who hasn't seen a story. They've been on a spending spree or I guess an agree to spending spree. I don't know the Raiders' cap situation, but I have to expect there is some consternation in that front office.

edit - I'm late and gay and should read the rest of posts before posting.

Raiders had like 120+ mil before trading Maxx. So they're fine cap wise right now.

The Quay Walker and Eric Stokes deals haven't had their details announced, but they were at around 67 million before the trade fell through. So, realistically, they are sitting at 10-20 million right now.

I'm getting Carlos Correa like flashbacks from this Crosby situation. The Raiders seem to be painting it as the Ravens "pulled out" of the deal/cold feet to try and keep Crosby's value up whereas the reports are the Ravens failed his physical. The Ravens would have to be next level of retarded to blow this up over cold feet as it would destroy any kind of trust with every GM/player in the league. To me the most sense would be that they found something gnarly about that knee they weren't expecting and got out.

Enjoy the rollercoaster, Philly. 1/3 of the time, he won't even try, 1/3 he's an All-Pro corner, and the other 3rd is average when he isn't catching potentially game-destroying penalties at literally the worst possible moment.
The Seahawks were right to let him go, if only out of concern for the fanbase's heart/liver health.
I didn't know CJGJ switched to CB.

The Raiders saying the Ravens "backed out" of the trade when it came down to a failed physical is some shit Al Davis would do. Always have to be the victim. Mark following in his dad's footsteps with that one.
They can't trade Crosby now if he can't pass a physical. Might as well try to make it work because there isn't anything else to do. Still stupid to try to trade him to begin with.

Dipshit Ravens fans seem to think DeCosta got cold feet because fans were crying about how expensive the trade was and how we kept losing "INDISPENSIBLE PIECES" of the team. Bullshit, no GM or owner would ever risk their reputation like that. It would easily get EDC fired for it.

Yeah this is what I'm getting from this. Everyone knows every trade and deal is contingent on a physical, the Raiders wording of it makes it feel like they are trying to get ahead of it to set a narrative to try and keep the trade value high, which isn't going to work now. I just don't see the Ravens backing out of the deal over a meniscus that will be healed well before training camp starts, it has to be something else about the knee that scared them. Right now they are getting raked over the coals because they haven't really said anything but at the same time I'm not even sure how much they can reveal. There is just no way in hell a GM is going to risk his reputation and the reputation of his organization to every single team over cold feet and making up a medical issue.
