This man may very well be the best pure runner ever, or up there. I think LT was a better overall back especially at receiving but nobody was running like this man did. Defenses stacked the box every time and he still ran like crazy and his record season was off an ACL tear. Will we ever see this production in the modern NFL again I wonder...
For my money, Barry Sanders is the best I've ever seen. Emmitt has the record and he deserves it, but Barry was like a video game character come to life.

It wouldn't be a Cowboys Press Conference without surprise guest appearance by former president Bill "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton.

This Bill Clinton collab with Jerry Jones is so freaking funny; it's like a blast from the past, and Jerry almost fell down. Fun fact: the last time the Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl, Bill Clinton was president. On the topic of Cowboys press conferences, did anybody notice how the first press conference with Brian Shottenheimer and Steven Jones was privated on YouTube? I don't know if that one is still up somewhere or not, but I briefly listened to it and heard Steven Jones talk about drafting a wide receiver. We don't need offense in this year's draft; we need to go all in on defense in this draft, but I have no clue what Jerry or Steven will do.

The Mike Vrabel-Dianni Russini scandal continues: after Vrabel lied about his relationship at first he now has decided to finally address the scandal by avoiding taking any responsibility.

And today it has come out that Robert Kraft knew about what the two were doing and tried to kill the story before it was published.

A brand new era for Patriots football and they still can't help but reveal themselves to be such a scumbag organization.

I just cant bring myself to care about this scandal at all. Journos long ago gave up any illusions of objectivity.

Dude she named the kid born months after that photo was taken Michael? 4 days after the kid's born, she's dreaming about him specifically playing and coaching? And there are now whole highlight reels of her using her husband in unflattering analogies to <current NFL thing> on panel shows?

I can believe the husband is the one who hired the PI and dude should be calling the Maury Paternity Test team ASAP. Delightfully trashy, feel like I'm on one of the on-topic boards.

When I first saw that I thought it said years in my memory or I would have pointed that out too. Fuckin' wild how spiteful new jersey trash is.

I mean I generally agree, fuck journalists. But there's so much smoke billowing around the Vrabel/Russini story to think this is all just made up by Jew York Post reporters or something is being silly. And I'm saying this as a Pats fan.
I'm not sure there's anything that's come out that would surprise me now, knowing they've been having an affair going back at least six years to 2020, if not longer. I'm sure some people will be doing some digging to see if potentially started back in Houston, if Russini was covering the Texans when Vrabel was their DC.
If I'm Mr. Shake Shack I'm fucking furious. From what I've seen he hired a PI to follow them and snapped the photos in Sedona, so obviously he knew something was up, if you've looked online people have made compilations of Russini just fucking trashing her husband casually in interviews. She thinks he's a beta and married him for the money. And naming their firstborn son MICHAEL is some cold-blooded female psycho shit. I'm sure how in her mind this was supposed to go down is they'd eventually get divorced and she's get a nice cushy alimony paycheck from his Shake Shack money to go along with her already making a fuckton via The Athletic/NYT as a way of doubledipping, and having that on top of having a son named Michael who I'm convinced is now Vrabel's kid?
That's fucking diabolical. That's a satanic level of cucking your husband that's thought out, calculated, and doing it for the longterm because you fucking hate him.

As a Pats fan, this is a Grade A shitstorm. It's not at Aaron Hernandez level, that's still number 1 for obvious reasons. But this might be number two. Depending on how things go, this is definitely above Robert getting handjobs from Asian masseuses. It's above Spygate and Deflategate, but yeah this is a fucking mess. And Robert 1000% knew, it's why he tried to kill the story. I'm wondering though, did Vrabel lie and say this was just a one-off thing? Did Kraft know this had been going on for years before he hired Vrabel? I'm now concerned he might fire him if he lied to Kraft about the depth of this shit. At minimum, this is now no longer just a tabloid story, it's actively affecting football because Vrabel will be missing the third day of the draft. And while I love the drama, the fan in me just has this ominous feeling that this is a precursor to this season being a shitstorm of distractions and >us getting murdered on the field because of how difficult the schedule is.

If I'm Mr. Shake Shack, I'm getting a paternity test yesterday. This bitch is fucking evil. I'm calling Maury, I'm calling the Pope. I'm calling whoever and getting a fucking divorce.

There have been rumors going on about this for awhile. Back when Vrabel was with the Titans people were talking about how he had to be her source information. A reminder that despite the Titans not really being known for the target of regular mainstream national coverage given the fact that they often are a crap team, she was always covering them unlike a lot of other top football reporters. And she often had a lot of great information that turned out to be accurate. On top of that, when Vrabel was fired from Tennessee she immediately stopped covering them.

People definitely took notice of what was going on. I don't think a lot of people suspected an affair (in at least the NFL fan community), but people definitely noticed the two were likely connected in some way. I have a feeling based on what has been coming out that the mainstream sports media definitely knew of what the two were doing and were just looking the other way. That extends to a lot of the other NFL adjacent communities.

I don't doubt that Kraft knew full well of what they were doing and chose to ignore it, hoping it would never be exposed.

Moving on from the Vrabel scandal, how is everyone feeling about the draft tonight? I am kind of excited. I genuinely feel outside of the number one pick, no one knows who is going where and what teams have in mind for tonight. It should make for a fun opening round.

I'm not feeling particularly excited about it. While great drafts are relatively rare (I don't think I'll see a stretch like 1988-90 ever again), this one is looking like it will be on the far weaker side of the bell curve. Even Mendoza is going to be a toss-up, in my opinion, because he's so damn slender. I'll be surprised if more than 10 of the first rounders get extended.

Chiefs continue to be the Georgia of the NFL

Former NFL player and current Kansas City Chiefs defensive backs coach Dave Merritt was arrested for domestic battery on Wednesday ... after reportedly causing bodily harm to "a daughter."

The 54-year-old was arrested around 9 PM in Overland Park ... and was booked into jail without bond, according to the Kansas City Star.

Someone also found this wild clip of her from four years ago on ESPN now that's just wild to watch again with what we know now.

The draft used to be so comfy. Hang around all day on a Saturday, grill some food, play some vidya on the other TV or monitor. Now we have to spread it out over three days so the NFL can extract as much money as possible.

Good lord, you fat ginger retard, when you're reading the bio of a dead soldier fucking proof read. Jesus christ he stinks.
