As for Jackson he had a down year last year, but 2024 was 41 TDs and 4 INTs. Still ran for almost a 1000 yards, but he's light-years ahead as a pocket passer even from where he was the first MVP season. I think he can could potentially make it a bit past 30.

I'm a Bears fan I don't really care about Jackson or Ravens but just my unbiased take.
 
One of the biggest concerns for Ravens fans should be Lamar's ability to stay healthy. Considering how often he gets hit and with his play style, I don't see that improving at all

I had the dumbest argument with one of his fans where he kept saying "b-but Burrow gets hurt more!" and could not process that for Lamar's style of play, getting his legs hurt a lot has a much more detrimental effect on his overall QB quality than Burrow's bum knee does on his.
 
Burrow has such a shitty O-line and defense, but I feel that his SB run is going to be the highlight of his career as long as he stays in Cincy.

Lamar, on the otherhand, should win a SB given the State of their division and conference. He's a good player, but I feel that he only has a few more years left before injuries and his playstyle derail him

Steve Young's an example of a running QB doing his stuff on the back half of his career. The first half, he was a backup for all but one season. When he finally got the full-time gig after the Montana trade, at the age of 31, he ended up getting concussed so badly during the next seven years that he had to hang it up at 38.

Not bad money for the work. If he can prove himself to be an actual backup and get an actual backups contract down the line he'll have the best job in sports.

Bills lucked into Allen and his incredible development and fumbled it. Not sure it's a great idea for your expensive QB that's indisputably the best member of your team to also be your red zone RB, but okay. They're going to wind up breaking him before he gets to the SB.

Though I don't know how much of that is coaching and how much is Allen wanting to play hero ball. That fumble before the half vs. the Broncos was like the lowest football IQ move I've ever seen.
 
Now that the draft is over, here's my draft review. I got to say I'm impressed with the Dallas Cowboys. Caleb Downs is a baller, and those other guys like Malichi Lawrence and Coby Durant seem like hidden gems. My critique is I wish we had traded that first-round pick to another team in exchange for 2 second-round picks so we could draft Malichi Lawrence and Jacob Rodriguez, as I think Malichi wouldn't have gone in the first round without Dallas. I also think we should have done something like that to draft in the second round because Jacob Rodriguez is a future Hall of Famer, in my opinion, and I think he would have made a great addition to the Dallas Cowboys defense.

Also, I'm happy to see Texas Tech draft so many guys, as I love the Texas Tech team and wanted them to win the natty this year. It's also hilarious Berhan Morton, who is basically a nobody if you don't watch Texas Tech games, got drafted over Diego Pavia, the Heisman finalist. I think Morton has a bright future in New England as a Patriot, and I think he is one of the many Texas Tech guys who are going to be future Hall of Famers. JRod is great, David Bailey is great, and the Jets and Dolphins seem like competitors with their draft hauls. I also think after this draft that the Dallas Cowboys are an NFC championship team, but one other thing they should have done, in my opinion, is trade George Pickens before the draft because it seems inevitable, and we could have gotten more draft picks to pick up a Jacob Rodriguez or some other defensive or offensive player, as I think Pickens is worth at least one first-round draft pick, and we could save cap space, but overall, like I said, it's a good draft for the Dallas Cowboys.

That's a double edged sword with Dallas tbh. Yes they fucked over the Steelers but they still shot themselves in the leg. Lemon goes to Philly instead of Pitt. If y'all weren't going to pay Pickens later, y'all could've drafted Lemon all to yourselves as a escape plan. So they better make sure that Pickens is a happy camper for as long as he can

Jerry has gone through two spines already bending over backwards to accommodate the star pieces of his offense that sell the most jerseys, why not a third?

In other news, apparently Russ is interviewing with the Jets to be Geno's backup, which would be terminally funny and the worst kind of full circle QB journey I can imagine

It is quite odd how so many younger football fans are only going to know Russ for his failed journeyman career. Richard Sherman has got to be laughing his ass off right now.

What I want to know who do we all think are going to be our top tanking teams for next season? Miami and NYJ are at the top of the list. Pittsburgh? Cleveland? So many teams this year look like they are going to be in desperate need for a QB at the next draft.

My money is on the Jets, Dolphins, Raiders, Titans, Vikings and Texans. I don't think CJ Stroud is that guy and that his playoff performance will continue on into next year.

I was still rooting for Joe Flacco to finally join the Steelers.

Neither one of these guys can win in the playoffs. Cincy is such a trainwreck of a franchise, I can't see Burrow ever being more than what he is if he stays there. Lamar looked a couple steps slower last year, which is a big problem for him since it makes the read option exponentially harder to run successfully.

If I had to pick one to ever win a Championship it would have to be Burrow, with the caveat that it won't be in Cincy.
 
Amazing that the Cardinals are so terminally inconsequential they're even left off tanking lists. May I remind you they are eating a massive dead cap hit after cutting their franchise QB, spent the #3 overall pick on a RB who will get killed behind their swiss cheese offensive line, and are starting basically nobody you've ever heard of on defense besides Budda Baker and Sean Murphy Bunting in their respective dotage?
