Vikings / Jags Super Bowl, it’s happening.

Jags Eagles super bowl

As much as I want and pray for either of these 2 scenarios to happen, let's not forget who the Jags are playing in the AFC Championship game. I'll take Tom Brady over Blake fucking Bortles any day of the week. I think the garbage man is more than likely the reason that Jacksonville loses this game too. This is the same guy who couldn't figure out the Titans defense 3 weeks ago. I don't have a lot of faith in Bortles to pick apart New England's defense. The reason the Titans lost so badly to the Patriots on Saturday is that they couldn't establish the running game, with Derrick Henry having 12 carries for a measly 28 yards. The Jags offense more often than not also relies on a strong running game in order to score points offensively, and considering that the Jags o-line is worse than the Titans, I just don't see how they get through the New England defense and win this game unless Sacksonville comes to play, score on the defense, and take Tom Brady out of the game by giving him a concussion. I have no faith in the passing game of the Jags what so ever.

Really glad Jacksonville got this far though. I rather put a bullet in my head than watch another championship game between the Steelers and the Patriots. I'm sorry Pittsburgh fans, but Bill Belichick just has Mike Tomlin's number. The Steelers haven't beaten the Patriots since 2011 for god sake, and they nearly play once or twice a year now.

My team implodes so fucking hard they fire the head coach and GM during the regular season, and now it's looking like an Eagles/Pats super bowl.

Fuck my life.

I thought Jesus was wearing Cowboy colors, so I always thought you were a Cowboys fan. I guess you're a Giants fan. Learn something new everyday. My condolences.

Where would you like Giants to draft in this upcoming offseason? Do they go for a QB to eventually replace Eli, a RB to form a semblance of a running game, or do they go OL to finally do something about that god forsaken offensive line they've had for years now?

God do I hate American Football. And this season has been especially annoying due to how "exciting" everything was during the New Years weekend.

Its unfortunately at the point where I gotta have at least a peripheral knowledge of things, being now I'm on year 2 of bartending, and people at the bar are there to watch football. I literally can't tell which color is what, which city is which team, and even where the hell the Ball itself is. And if you come back 20 minutes later, to find either your favored team has not scored anything and ask me whats up, all I'll think is that YOU are the one who watches and enjoys this entirely too-slow paced of a game. I can't even tell where the fuck the ball is, let alone why its not on the other side.

As for which city is which team, blame that on the fact that THE SAME GODDAMN FIVE TEAMS ARE NARROWED DOWN TO TWO FOR THE SUPER BOWL. And this is something that I absolutely hate, and it prevents me from learning more about the whole league.

Its always
New England Patriots
Denver Broncos
Seattle Seahawks
New Orleans Saints
Atlanta

And yes, there have been teams on recent years not in that list, but since I've been counting (starting in the year Beyonce Knowles ran the half-time show, transformed into a demon on camera and caused a big blackout during the game) the Super Bowl has included at least ONE of the five teams I've included.

And going right back to why I just don't enjoy it in the least is I can't. Fucking. Tell. Where. The. Ball. Is.

And this threads right back into some positivity. I fucking love watching Basketball on Tv. Basketball on Tv is so much fun to watch. The end of season is when I'm actually included in sports conversations because I actually do know a bit more. Perhaps not the statistical side, but the analytical side. My manager and I were actually making Broom jokes to my boss bartender who's a big Lebron fan when he was in danger of getting sweeped.

In Basketball, I can see where the ball is, in Football, all I see is men running.
The saints have been to the super bowl once and the falcons twice. You should switch them out for Pittsburgh and green bay

UT is taking the Saints loss about as well as one might expect.

Patriots win lol
The Jags were terrified in the second half. Timid on offense and soft on defense, it was a collapse waiting to happen.

Hee hee.

Glad the Vikings lost. Good riddance.
I want the Eagles to win the Super Bowl, but the Pats will probably pull another win out of their ass.

Kirk Cousins and the Redskins have finally parted ways and their new franchise QB is going to be an aging Alex Smith (no offense to Alex, but's he getting up there).

The guy carries your offense for the better part of 3 years, the fans are completely behind him, and you just say "Fuck it. We don't need you." I don't understand the Redskins organization at all. The year before, they let both of their 1000+ yard receivers go in free agency, and now this. Does Dan Synder and co. enjoy looking the most like incompetently ran football franchise year after year?

Statistically speaking, the Redskins were the worst team this year when it came to defending the run, yet the QB position was the glaring issue when Cousins ranked 11th in QB passer rating on the year? Fucking idiots.

They look like the most incompetent because they are the most incompetent. Even the Browns issues can be explained away partially by bad luck. You cannot hide from the truth. Snyder brings the whole org down.

Best of luck to Alex Smith. It seems to me that he is destined to wear the "bridge quarterback for a shitty club" crown once Josh McCown retires.

The problem is 100% Dan Snyder. He thinks because he's a billionaire he knows everything. He runs the team like his own personal fantasy team. He makes ridiculous decisions like trade draft picks for aging near retirement players who never work out. He should just admit he's wrong and hire people who are actually qualified to make those kind of calls. Even Redskins fans admit this the problem.

I think I'm missing something. Shouldn't the Vikings be terrible? Also, why is the Super Bowl happening in the absolute worst state?
