The NFL draft is happening in my home town guys.

Pour me one if a car flies into my house. :bluelabel:

It's getting to be that magical time of year again. Time to make some predictions for the upcoming season. This was fun last year because I was wrong for almost every division. Let's see how I'll embarrass myself in 4 months again. Some team comments included!

AFC West
1st. Los Angeles Chargers
2nd. Kansas City Chiefs
3rd. Oakland Raiders ( Just a guess. No fucking clue how this team does. Probably the biggest mystery in the league this year with the defense being almost all new and Jon Gruden being back in the saddle. Realistically, I see them being a 7-9 to 9-7 team, but they could be a sleeper team for all I know. They could also be really bad. All the more frustrating considering I'm a Raiders fan :().
4th. Denver Broncos

AFC South
1st. Jacksonville Jaguars (Never thought I'd see the day when I'd be excited to see the Jaguars play football. That defense is going to be really fun to watch this year. LEt's Hope Blake "The Garbage Man" Bortles doesn't screw this up.)
2nd.Tennessee Titans
3rd. Houston Texans (Someone key is going to get injured. It always happens to this team unfortunately. It's all a matter of time and who.)
4th. Indianapolis Colts (Eww, but congrats on drafting an offensive lineman finally :).)

AFC East
1st.New England Patriots
2nd.Buffalo Bills
3rd. New York Jets (They're getting there, slowly but surely. Hopefully a step forward this year, but this team is still severely lacking talent on offense. I'm rooting for them to be good though.)
4th. Miami Dolphins :briefs: (The winner of my dirty crapped briefs award this year. Where do I fucking start with this team? Besides a few standouts, this whole team organization is reeking of incompetence these past 2 seasons. I honestly think the Dolphins have a legit shot at being the worse team in the league this year. Makes me really sad to say since I think Minkah Fitzpatrick was one of the better players in the draft. Adam Gase is gone after this year.)

AFC North
1st.Pittsburgh Steelers
2nd. Baltimore Ravens
3rd. Cincinnati Bengals (A fucking atrocious football team that has loads of problems. The only reason this team finishes 3rd is because they share a division with the Browns.)
4th.Cleveland Browns (I have 3 games they could possibly win. They're best chance is probably at home against the Jets. Not holding my breath though.)

NFC West
1st. Los Angeles Rams
2nd. San Francisco 49ers
3rd. Seattle Seahawks (A pretty bad team heading into this year. Only reason I have them above the Cardinals is Russel Wilson. Wouldn't be surprised if he got injured this year. That O-line is dog shit.)
4th. Arizona Cardinals (Two injury prone QBs + Bad O-line= Bad season. Their better than average defense isn't going to save them either.)

NFC South
1st. New Orleans Saints
2nd. Atlanta Falcons
3rd.Carolina Panthers
4th. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (This team is already off to a bad start. In case you missed it, Jameis Winston is suspended the 1st 3 games of the season for grabbin' her by the PUSSY! Those 1st 3 games are, in order, 1.At Saints, 2.Home against the Eagles, and 3.Home against the Steelers. That's really rough. What isn't going to be rough is that top 10 draft pick the Bucs are probably going to have next year for what I'm predicting is going to be a very bad season for them.)

NFC East
1st. Philadelphia Eagles
2nd.Dallas Cowboys (Despite not having a passing game to speak of, I think they're going to land 2nd in their division. The Giants are rebuilding and I never trust the Redskins. My possibly bold prediction for this year is that Jason Garrett is going to be gone after this year. )
3rd. New York Giants
4th. Washington Redskins

NFC North
1st. Minnesota Vikings
2nd. Green Bay Packers (Aaron Rodgers is an all time great, but he cannot save this team alone that imo has been getting consistently worse each year. Anybody who thinks this team is better than the Vikings going into this year are fucking delusional.)
3rd. Detroit Lions (have no idea why I've seen this team so highly regarded on certain sports publications recently. They're not bad, but they're not good either. Just...ehh. I think it's going to be a step forward for the Lions this year, but at best, they're the 6th seed Wild Card Team.)
4th. Chicago Bears

Tis' the season boys and girls.

I don't know why they keep playing football after the patriots already beat the game. I mean they have to make up reasons to punish them and make insane calls to help their opponents, and they still win most of the time!

It is funny the collective hate of a good football team made the world's scientists forget all about the difference between PSIA and PSIG though.

The funniest thing I ever heard was someone saying the patriots are really dirty because they call a lot of trick plays, especially play action. And it wasn't just some random jackass, it was a player from one of the other teams.

It's not the Bellichick is a genius, and he's not cheating, as much as haters want to believe that. The problem is he's got an IQ over 82, so he's got a ridiculously unfair advantage over the drunk hobos the other teams have coaching.

They should just rename it jealousyball and have the patriots be the final boss. They usually are anyway...

This happens every so often, it’s why the term “dynasty” exists. The NFL will turn and the patriots will be a bottom feeder again like the cowboys are now. Back in the 90s everyone said the same things about Dallas, they had the game all figured out and no one would ever be able to topple “America’s Team” from the top spot.

Or maybe I’m misremembering.

Before the Cowboys it was the 49ers, before them it was the Steelers.

The Pats have just done it the longest so far, but Brady's getting old and the coach is starting to hate the ownership. Same thing that happened to all those other teams

I can't for the Patriots to start going down hill. It would be nice to have an AFC East that is actually interesting again.

Most likely you won't be waiting too long. They dealt away their future QB to the 9ers and it has the head coach pretty pissed off

you ready for some football

I really hope the broncos do better than last year, my favorite team went from being Super Bowl Champs 2 years ago to now bottom of the AFC West

Im a Denver fan too, but my hopes for a winning season are gone considering Vance Joseph is only in the league to make Hue Jackson look competent

How can you possibly say the Dolphins are worse than the Browns. The Browns had a perfect season. There was a fucking parade and everything!
