yeah the whole NFC North has a pretty brutal schedual, honestly i think it's just as likely that the lions go 10-6, as it is they go 6-10.
I don't think we'll know whos going to win the division til week 17, its the toughest division in the league, and despite what pundits will tell you, all the teams are pretty evenly matched.
I feel the same. The NFC North is gonna be wild this year.

Me as a Chargers fan watching all our players get hurt.... again...

You know that killer defense we had, oh derwin james stress fractured the fuck out of his foot.

Oh that O-Line that is ya know kinda not great well Russell Okung our great left guard has a blood clot in his lung. Keenan Allen oh you had a weird knee and ankle injury sure your better but fuck me we can’t just have Mike Williams bail us out all the time. So I am having a blast at the moment

At least Hunter Henry is looking good, we need to finally move on from Gates.

I think the bears are the most complete team, but have the least reliable qb.

I'd take Trubisky over Stafford any day of the week. Trubisky at least showed some growth last year. Matt Stafford has been treading water for the better part of 6 years.

I'm going to embarrass myself and make my annual predictions for the divisions again. Past two years have been pretty horrific. Maybe this year will be better :optimistic:

AFC West
1st. Los Angeles Chargers
2nd. Kansas City Chiefs
3rd. Denver Broncos
4th. Oakland Raiders

AFC South (hardest division to call this year. Totally expecting to be wrong here.)
1st. Houston Texans
2nd. Indianapolis Colts
3rd. Jacksonville Jaguars
4th. Tennessee Titans

AFC East
1st.New England Patriots
2nd. Buffalo Bills
3rd. New York Jets
4th. Miami Dolphins :briefs: (Dolphins get my pick for worst team in the league for the 2nd year in a row. They miraculously pulled a 7-9 out of their ass last year. There's no way they can catch lightning in a bottle twice. Not with this roster.)

AFC North
1st.Pittsburgh Steelers
2nd. Cleveland Browns (Browns are looking great on paper, but I can't buy into them winning the division. It's Cleveland, so they will find a way to disappoint.)
3rd. Baltimore Ravens
4th. Cincinnati Bengals

NFC West
1st.Los Angeles Rams
2nd. Seattle Seahawks
3rd. San Francisco 49ers
4th. Arizona Cardinals

NFC South
1st. New Orleans Saints
2nd. Atlanta Falcons
3rd.Carolina Panthers
4th. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NFC East
1st. Philadelphia Eagles
2nd. Dallas Cowboys
3rd.Washington Redskins
4th. New York Giants

NFC North
1st. Minnesota Vikings
2nd. Chicago Bears
3rd. Green Bay Packers
4th. Detroit Lions

You know I was just thinking about how "unreliable" might not be the best word. I think "unproven" might be a better term. He looked better than Stafford and Cousins both times he played them last year.

Regardless, the bears could have had Mahomes. The argument between which pick was better is already settled. They gotta work with what they chose though.
Regardless,my original point is if the bears can manage to have just some above average quarterback play they are a team to be feared.

In other unrelated areas, will Andrew Luck be able to start the season? Will Antonio brown ever find a helmet he can play in? Will the Browns be real or are they just hype? Will Old Man Tom win the superbowl again anyway rendering all of this noise pointless?

If Greedy is as good as he proclaims; I dont think the Browns are nearing the "Dream Team" Eagles. That DEF is stout. I think the oddity of their season will be Baker telling Odell to "Shut the fuck up"--which will be funny seeing a 2nd year QB putting a star WR in his place.

I think the bears are the most complete team, but have the least reliable qb. If trubisky plays good football, I say its Chicagos division.
They got a stellar defense (Eddie Jackson is one of the most under rated players and plays like a superstar), but I think the Viks shifting more towards running is going to change things this year. The Pack, Bears, and Viks are legit teams, and the Lions are on the come up if they use Keyrron like Kamara.

Should be a fun year.

Post your honest, non-fanboy, predictions of your team's record.

Me:
Vikings 9-7
The Viks schedule looks fairly brutal; the out of conference games aren't cupcakes.
Seahawks will probably go 10-6 again. Our conference is a joke, our out-of-conference schedule is pretty free of the monster teams, and, even though our offensive line got better in the offseason and Russell Wilson might actually get to throw a football again, we took two big hits on defense losing Earl Thomas and Frank Clark.

Step 1: Put Andrew Luck behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league for his first five years.

Step 2: Franchise QB retires early due to injuries.

Insert Surprised Pikachu face here.

Legit I was looking forward to week one with my Chargers going against the Colts with an injured Luck, but now... This ain’t going to be pretty for the Colts.

BOLT MAN AWAY!

It's about to be a shitshow, unless Brissett can put up points now that the O-Line is good. Chris Ballard is the only man who can save this franchise, Irsay is somewhere drunk

I think trubisky is going to be the stereotypical bears QB, ala jim mcmahon, rex grossman, or jay cutler. he's not going to be the reason you lose any games but hes not going to win them for you either, that responsibility is going to fall on the defense.

Stafford hasn't had a defense or an o-line like trubisky had last year. This year will be the first year he has a Half competent o-line, a good defense, and a Good run game if kerryon stays healthy. i think the lions are in the same spot the bears were last year, they're the dark horse candidate, i don't think anyone has really recognized how good they can be this year.

According to ESPN, Andrew Luck has retired.

GG to my Colts brethren
As a Lions fan i'd like to welcome the Colts to the "we waste the career of our star player" club.

It’s time to push the “Oh Fuck” button and bring Pat Mcafee as QB. He did play QB on the practice squad in between punts.

As fellow Lions fan I see your point. This might be the last stand for Sttaford and he better not dissapoint since he arguably is the leader of these bunch of misfits that relativily the best pro sports team on Motown (I want him to make me eat my words about his contract) . I really want to see that Marthas ownership keeps being passable since she is still over .500.

Detroit Lions, you will know why the automobile industry left once you arrive. At least getting a house is cheap and you can meet Kid Rock at your local White Castle dumpster.

Hopefully the refs will be better this year... Look a man can dream.
They won't be, there's just going to be more frustration because now everything is reviewed and no one in new york is going to want to make the refs on the field look incompetent (which they are)
