NFL is fixed garbage.
Hopefully the refs will be better this year... Look a man can dream.

The second the NFL caved to the Ref Union it sealed the fate of the league.

The Refs are beyond reproach and backed by collective bargaining. The steps needed to fix the problems with the sport are now cemented into the foundation.

Fuck Jim Irsay. I hope he gets a speeding ticket.
I was going to wish him testicular cancer but I have lost too many people due cancer.

Yeah it's sad. I basically thought the colts were getting the next Peyton Manning when they signed luck. They pissed it away. It all starts at the line of scrimmage. If your o-line is trash, you will waste the most promising talent of the early 2010s.

He could have been as good as Peyton but he had do deal with both Irsay and Grigson for most of his career. It crushes my heart that Ballard-Reich just arrived and were rebuilding around him. I hope the best for Jacoby but I can totally see the team either intentionally or not tanking to ruin either Tua or Trevor.
Hope Im wrong.

I'm legit scared for Kyler on Arizona. That team is garbage and he isnt nearly as big and tough as Luck. Shit let's be real, dude is an incredibly talented manlet by football standards. Dude might get killed out there. Cardinals o line is bottom tier of the league. Godspeed Kyler, and stay safe.

The Cardinals are the new Browns of the NFL, they're going to draft a new QB every other year hoping they draft the net peyton manning or the next aaron rodgers to save their franchise while wasting their other draft picks and never doing anything to improve non-skill positions. Each new QB they draft is going to be thrown in the woodchipper and expected not to lose a limb, just like the old Browns. At Least Kyler Murray is probably the most mobile QB since Russell Wilson, his pocket presence better develop real quickly though or hes in for a world of hurt.

I can't wait until jim irsay trades the team away for an 8 ball after he spends all his money on DUI fines and Rum. what he did to luck is about as close to criminally negligent as I have ever seen in the NFL. I hate to rehash urinatingtree jokes but how the NFL hasn't collectively launched ryan grigson into the pacific ocean astounds me, i didnt even realise he still had a job until i saw the video. Irsay and Grigson deserve each other, what they didn't deserve was Luck. id say its a shame Chris Ballard and Frank Reich didn't get there sooner, but Irsay doesn't deserve to be within 1,000 feet of a successful football team. i'm glad the fans are recognizing how cancerous irsay's leadership is and are demanding refunds for season tickets. i wonder how he's going to Handle the season ticket refunds, he'll probably hold a press conference where his statements will essentially boil down to "fuck off, daddy needs his coke money."

Wait huh?

If it's fixed, the refs are fake, thus anything to do with unions is also fake.

If the union shit and the refs aren't fake, then the sport must not be fake.

That said, there are times it appears the refs are heavily favoring one team over the other. But I assume that's more basic incompetence/favoritism than the sport being fixed from on high.

Boys... I did it, I am going to my first NFL game this year.

I would agree with his assertion of the NFL being rigged, especially after seeing the endings of both the AFC and NFC conference finals last year. Egregious calls that I don't think can be overlooked as incompetence

Indy fans were garbage for how they treated Luck

they dont deserve a winning franchise for a while

Agreed as a former Colts fan. I was going to stop watching already, and this cemented me just being done with it all. Luck carried the whole team on his back and was hurt constantly, so it's upsetting to see him not getting cheered and immediately rewarded

Well after the Seahawks got Clowney he might just end up on IR reserve if Clowney still got juice in the tank.
I think the performance of SF's offense is going to come down to the O-Line. Cause if the O-Line doesn't do its Job and protect Jimmy, expect another mediocre season without a playoff appearance :story:

Imo it was the worst place for him to land. He's gonna get his head knocked in, and defensive players like to go after high draft picks with some extra aggressiveness to welcome them to the NFL. Kingsbury is gonna do awful. Rosen had to go through so many coaching staff changes, he had no chance there.

Jimmy better not tear his ACL again.
He'll have a slower year than niner fans would've wanted, but that's cuz he's coming off the injury. Almost every qb who tears an ACL needs a year of playing to get back to themselves

I'd take Trubisky over Stafford any day of the week. Trubisky at least showed some growth last year. Matt Stafford has been treading water for the better part of 6 years.

I'm going to embarrass myself and make my annual predictions for the divisions again. Past two years have been pretty horrific. Maybe this year will be better :optimistic:

AFC West
1st. Los Angeles Chargers
2nd. Kansas City Chiefs
3rd. Denver Broncos
4th. Oakland Raiders

AFC South (hardest division to call this year. Totally expecting to be wrong here.)
1st. Houston Texans
2nd. Indianapolis Colts
3rd. Jacksonville Jaguars
4th. Tennessee Titans

AFC East
1st.New England Patriots
2nd. Buffalo Bills
3rd. New York Jets
4th. Miami Dolphins :briefs: (Dolphins get my pick for worst team in the league for the 2nd year in a row. They miraculously pulled a 7-9 out of their ass last year. There's no way they can catch lightning in a bottle twice. Not with this roster.)

AFC North
1st.Pittsburgh Steelers
2nd. Cleveland Browns (Browns are looking great on paper, but I can't buy into them winning the division. It's Cleveland, so they will find a way to disappoint.)
3rd. Baltimore Ravens
4th. Cincinnati Bengals

NFC West
1st.Los Angeles Rams
2nd. Seattle Seahawks
3rd. San Francisco 49ers
4th. Arizona Cardinals

NFC South
1st. New Orleans Saints
2nd. Atlanta Falcons
3rd.Carolina Panthers
4th. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NFC East
1st. Philadelphia Eagles
2nd. Dallas Cowboys
3rd.Washington Redskins
4th. New York Giants

NFC North
1st. Minnesota Vikings
2nd. Chicago Bears
3rd. Green Bay Packers
4th. Detroit Lions

Heck, I’ll take a stab at this too. I’ll be completely wrong but what the hell...

AFC North:
1. Steelers
2. Ravens
3.Browns (they’ll find a way to blow it)
4. Bengals

NFC North:
1. Bears
2. Vikings
3. Packers
4. Lions

AFC West:
1. Chiefs
2. Chargers
3. Broncos
4. Raiders

NFC West:
1. Rams
2. Seahawks
3. 49rs
4. Cardinals

AFC East:
1. Patriots
2. Jets
3. Bills
4. Dolphins

NFC East:
1. Eagles
2. Cowboys
3. Redskins
4. Giants

AFC South:
1. Texans
2. Jaguars
3. Titans
4. Colts (worst record)

NFC South:
1. Falcons
2. Saints (still make playoffs)
3. Panthers
4. Buccaneers
