Mason Rudolph is a little shit, but I don't buy for a minute that he called Garrett a nagger.

XFL it is, then.

Controversy Creates Cash, brother.
Good ol' Vince, hope he is more successful this time.
Yeah to a certain amount it does, but there is a thin line between controversy creating money and pissing your fanbase off.
To be brutally frank, I absolutely am sick and tired of Kaepernick and his social justice crusade while having grown up in a white well off foster family with a silver spoon in his mouth. Seriously, what's next some Ivy League cunt whining about poverty and food stamps?
Fuck off Kaepernick!

Ah the race card, bit late tho but expected.

Vontaze Burfict believes some NFL Games are rigged.
Refballing got a bit to obvious sometimes, huh.

Can't take a knee to Oh Canada, huh. :story:

AAF? I thought they ceased operations?
They did. It would never have gotten started if kaepernick got the inflated $20m he said it would take. He knew it was a ridiculous number because the league stated what the salary structure was going to be well before their first draft.

The guy isn't worth 20m to begin with. I'm starting to ask myself if he does start to show the first signs of CTE.
CBS voted him at place 29th out of 33 QB's in 2016. 20m my ass.

I'm going to go out on a limb and state that a starting QB on TNF is probably miced up, and if he actually said it then it would have been a national news story by now.

Also, Garrett apparently waiting a week to mention it. If it had happened, Garrett would have said something that night.

Exactly. He didn't mention any of that in his initial apology, and nobody else had mentioned it, either. I just see it as a scummy last ditch appeal effort. To falsely accuse someone of racism, especially for personal gain, is disgusting. I hope Pittsburgh's legal team rapes him over this.

I swear, I've paid more attention to the NFL this year than I have in years. The uptick in cow activity has caught my interest.

He was going on and on about how deeply sorry he was, how much he regretted it. NOW, all of a sudden, Rudolph was spewing racial slurs? Pull the other one, it's got bells on it.

I'm guessing that Pouncey would've heard it, (hello, they're micced up!), and wouldn't have come to his teammate's defense. What a cowardly little prick.

Oh he said a naughty word, that makes it okay to assault him. Suspension over.
You know when something was utterly shit when even the biggest villain in the NFL, Vontaze Burfict, calls it "assault with a deadly weapon".
But seriously, I expected the race card to be pulled right after the assault happenend. I was seriously suprized that he didn't pull it with his apology.

I know Rudolph had a pretty bad concussion a few weeks back, but I'm pretty sure CTE can't induce the kind of dementia required to drop the hard-r on a field full of 6'5 300lb black dudes, at least not that quickly.

No. If he were the type it would've come out in Stillwater. Btw, I lived there for years while I went to college (Mason Rudolph and I share an alma mater) and still know many people in town. That word would have gotten out and I never heard of anything like that. Neither does anyone else I know.

Didn't know about the Ravens/girlfriends twitter stuff:

Tbh, that was the first time I thought to myself that he's going down the activist route and doesn't want to play anymore. The whole Twatter thing smelled extremely fishy.
IMHO, the NFL made a big mistake with this workout offer, everybody with a brain could see the outcome from a mile away.

That's the small time view. This is the NFL cutting it's thumb to avoid being stabbed in the neck. This is because the NFL's CBA expires after the 2020 season. Does the NFL currently look re.tarded? Yes. Does this take a huge poker chip away from players during renegotiations? Yes.

This wasn't about Kaep being in the league, this was all about future labor agreements and negotiations on the horizon.
