Lol, wow. Mahomes is gonna have to throw for 600 now thanks to the Chiefs special teams/WRs. Would this be the first time a 4 and 6 seed have met in a conference championship, I wonder? Assuming the Texans can hold on.

Edit: apparently not, after some quick googling, but either way, I was dead wrong about how the AFC playoffs were going to go this year. Too many years of watching teams melt down and shit their pants in Foxborough for me to expect different, but it's been great so far.
 
So far this weekend has just proved to me why you cant sleep on ANY team in the playoffs. The skill gap in the league is so minuscule even between the best and the worst teams and anyone can beat anyone at any time. And you dont make it to the playoffs by not being a good team. Nothing is ever guaranteed.

And because of all this, count me as one fucking entertained fan in this postseason so far.

This post season has been bonkers. Everyone's expectations have be shattered in one way or another.

I love it. This is the most entertained I've been with an NFL post season in a very long time.
 
I can't wait for the sports media to lose their collective shit when their golden talking points (Lamar Jackson and Kermit Mahomes) are out of the playoffs. 'Uh... Is it gonna be... Uh... Wait, Tannehill is still playing? Is he going to win a bowl? "
 
Insane comeback and takeover from the Chiefs. They went from 24-0 to 24-28. Now this is the first real duel of the playoffs.
 
So we're slated for an AFCCG between one of the most explosive offenses and an offense that centers around giving it to black mountain letting him just eat up yards.... And an NFCCG between Belichick's crush and the All-State guy.

Will we see an offensive powerhouse finally just waffle-stomp an NFC opponent, or is Rodgers gonna get a second ring by squeaking one out over a team that plays JUST good enough for 55 minutes, but falters just enough in the closing minutes to salt the game away?
 
I am cautiously hopeful, or deluded depending on your point of view, about the Packers chances in the NFCCG.
I base this off the incredibly meaningless observation that GB typically puts up a much better fight in the post season against teams that stomped them in the regular season.
The Seahawks won 36-16 in week 1 of 2014. The Packers manhandled them for 55 minutes in the NFCCG...Until McCarthy's conservatism and cocky playcalling came home to roost in the final five minutes.
The Cardinals stomped us 38-8 in week 16 of 2015. We took them to OT in the divisional round. Should have gone for 2 after the Hail Mary in hindsight.
The Cowboys beat us up at home 30-16 in week 6 of 2016. We then up ended that little bandwagon in the divisional round. The ensuing Skip Bayless freakout was fucking legendary.
Okay that's only 1 out of 3 resulting in a victory but it's something to go off of.

I hate and respect the Giant's at the same time.
On the one hand they fucked up the Patriots twice...On the other hand they had to go through the Packers to get there, 15-1/Rodger's first MVP and 13-3/Farve's last shot at glory both up in smoke by Eli's hand.
Just admit it the Giant's used up 20 years worth of luck going on those runs.

The Titans are gonna pull a mid 2000's Giants I think. A Wildcard team that just eek'd in and then got super hot at the right time with coaches game planning specific opponents perfectly, then to go on to not do too much in the following years
