The NFL Draft begins later today! How many of you folks are planning to watch it? I will be watching it and I personally have to say it still feels weird watching my Steelers not having a first round pick after that trade for Minkah Fitzpatrick.

I'll be following it a bit. Not like there's much else to do right now.

My bonehead award goes to the Detroit Lions. Quinn's inability to trade out of the #3 slot to get the same guy they could get at #5. They could've got a free 3rd or 4th round pick.
I agree with you on that particular corner being over drafted by about 5 draft picks. I've seen worse reaches, though. I question about the Raiders' draft picks the most. I think Henry Ruggs could've been had later. Not to mention there is at least a WR or two I prefer before him. But the Damon Arnette draft pick? Why use a top 20 draft pick on a guy that has character issues? The Raiders love their problem children.

On the flip side? I am loving what Tampa Bay is doing with their football team. They are definitely getting some good value out of their draft picks up to this point! I also like seeing The Steelers drafting Chase Claypool. I wonder how the Steelers will use Chase Claypool. He is almost tight end size as a receiver!

Edit: LOL at Eagles taking Jalen Hurts so early in the draft! That might be worst pick of the draft.

When Carson Wentz gets injured for the millionth time that'll be a good pick.

I think that my chargers did OK so far. They had one REALLY good hit last draft which was Drue Tranquill LB dude turned out well for his rook session. I like the Justin Herbert pick and am hoping that Kenneth Murray turns out well in the pros,

I don't have a doubt about Wentz getting hurt. However; I do not trust Hurts having the mental part of the game down. Where he has to read the defense and make the correct decisions while playing the game. I'd be more curious about Jacob Eason or Jake Fromm as QB prospects.

Update: Trent Williams is traded to The 49ers.

Hurts can be moved around and be the centerpiece of wacky personnel groups with gimmick plays designed to get him the ball. Wentz doesn't have to be injured for Hurts to make an actual contribution.

That's the only way Hurts pans out. Having watched the Bama game in which he got pulled, he looked awful. He was a product of the system up to that point. Wasn't impressed with him at Ok.

You gotta hear the Eagles fans.....

Roseman segment from today. Have not listened.

Howard Roseman on 94WIP
Listened to it: it's just a GM that sucks his own dick and justifying why it shouldn't be weird to others as they have to watch as he does it throughout the draft. No one cares they picked Hurts, but they really care he was taken in the 2nd with such a complete shit WR & CB core. It's like the weird double trade up for the Pats for those weak TEs.

Guaranteed, if they took Mims over Hurts; the Eagles fans would've been happy with the draft. Even with that questionable Reagor WR pick.

I wanted them to use a 4th to trade up for Winfield Jr

There is now dramatic video of Kansas City Chief's CB Bashaud Breeland being arrested by the cops. I got to say those cops were very restrained and timid in that video. So much to the point that I would be concerned about the safety of the law enforcement in this video.

Before Breeland's arrest; he was already suspended by the NFL for four games this upcoming season. Now he is arrested for possessing some drugs, driving without a license, having some opened containers of beer in his vehicle, and obviously resisting arrest.
