Why would they be? Is Walmart liable for everything that happens in their parking lots?

As property-owner, yes, they are.... under the law.... now, if you have the means to take on the lawyers of a Wally-World or a NFL franchise and make it stick? THat's the real question.

Businesses get sued for fights/slip and falls on their property all the time, even in the parking lots, mostly by assholes and Karens looking for a quick buck from settlements.

A slip and fall implies some sort of negligence by the property owner. If I park my car at Walmart and some douchebag who has no relation to the company slashes my tires, Walmart has no legal responsibility for that, and I doubt I'd get even a nuisance payment if I bothered trying to sue them because the idea that they did would be ridiculous.

Not even a full minute into the game and Fox has dropped the term "unity" more than 10 times and are obsessing over all the players taking a knee for 5 seconds post-kickoff, as opposed to my team's shitty as fuck defensive line bullying Todd Gurley into another TFL.

I was thinking about tuning in this afternoon to see whether the 2020 Bucs are going to be as hilariously over-hyped as the 2019 Browns, but not if it's going to be like this for the entire game.

The fox pregame show was cringe near the end, but outside of the opening kickoff for the Falcons game, the Redzone hasn't had any of that virtue-signaling. Also, Browns being the Browns with that fake punt

Thank fucking god for the Redzone broadcast. All of the football with none of the vapid pandering. Also lol browns

Anyone else think it is hypocritical to get rid of the Redskins name, acknowledge it and the team's history as racist, but then turn around and keep the same team's win-loss record, and 3 Super Bowl victories during the Gibbs era?

To me, if they REALLY meant it, they'd treat The Football Team as a new team and today is the first game in a new franchise's history.

By keeping the history and the successes, it just makes the name change look like an empty gesture and a cheap attempt at pandering. Which that can't possibly be it, right? :)

We afforded the same coping mechanism to the city of Cleveland, might as well give greater Maryland a pass.

It's literally the first game of the season and Odell Beckham is already showing "body language" as they get absolutely raped the Ravens

EDIT to avoid double posting:
How about that comeback from the Washington [REDACTED]? 27 unanswered points after being down 17-0 to the Eagles

Don’t the artist formerly known as the Redskins have had contingencies to change the name for years now? I saw somewhere that they would be renamed the Warriors like 20 years ago.

oh look the lions enter the 4th quarter with a sizable lead only to squander this position and allow the opposition to come back and win with little retaliation

its almost like the team organization has still learned nothing from the past two seasons and think relying on clutch offense is somehow going to pull them out of their slump

this team used to have a pretty strong DL that could keep them in games before mat pat came along and started making choices to emulate the patriots, now almost every game they get into the 4th and basically give up

who knows maybe by the end of the season they'll do something right for a change and ship patricia off for someone different (at least petterson looks good as a lion)
