Sudfeld has been on the team for four years. The Eagles have always talked glowingly about him, and he was good enough to trust as their #2 going into the Superbowl. They didn't even bother bringing in another QB for a workout during that time. He's not good, but it's not like they threw out some undrafted camp body who never had a chance, either.

As for Wentz, I'm at a loss about the whole situation. Pederson indicated earlier in the week that Suds would be getting playing time because he wants to compete for a starting job next season. That's a pipe dream if I've ever heard one, and I don't buy it, but the organization made it obvious that Wentz, along with several other starters who could have played, would not be a part of the game plan this week.

Entitled-ass Giants fans right now:
Motherfucker if your only path to the playoffs relies on a 4-10-1 rival team getting a win, you don't deserve to be in the fucking playoffs. The majority of these faggots talking about "punishing" the Eagles for NFC Easting the game were the same faggots saying the NFC East doesn't deserve a playoff berth the whole fucking season.

As hilarious as it would have been to see a 6-10 Giants team make it, anyone acting like this was some kind of massive disgrace is actually fucking retarded. Fuck the Giants and the rest of the NFC East as well. You're not in the playoffs because you are trash.

My favorite is all the people taking the 7-9 NFC East playoff team as a sign we absolutely MUST shake up the divisions, during a COVID season, forgetting that all of a decade ago the NFC West did the exact same thing, fielding the 7-9 Seahawks, and it led to one of the most legendary playoff upsets in league history.

I'm not rooting for the WFT until they pick a real name (and if they stick with that awful branding out of spite I'll hate them like they're in my division) but if they go on to knock Brady out of the wildcard round for the 2nd year in a row I'm not going to complain.

Shit teams and shit divisions occur almost every to every other year. But unlike a sport like basketball where a shit team will almost always get destroyed by a good team in the playoffs, football be like: what if an 8-8 Broncos team with Tim Tebow hosts as 12-4 Steelers team? Any given Sunday truly makes football a great sport and yeah, we expect certain teams to lose, but the playoffs are unexpected. Last year we got to witness King Henry run over New England and embarrass the #1 seeded Ravens, both games they were supposed to lose (I know they didn't have a losing record and were 9-7)

So yeah, the WFT should lose to Tampa, but it's not a guarantee and Washington has a good defense and Tampa has been inconsistent, especially when Brady has no time to throw. We shouldn't shake up the divisions, especially with another playoff spot being added.

In the most Browns fashion possible, after qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in 18 years, their fucking head coach catches COVID-19.

Here's a video about the situation for those of you who can't (or don't want to) read.

Giants fan here. I refuse to get upset because The Eagles "let me down." LOL. You will never get me to root for the Eagles. Fuck that noise!

The Giants were 5-10 before Sunday. As if we'd stand a chance against the Bucs in the playoffs. As if anyone from the NFC East even remotely deserves to be in the playoffs in the first place.

The Giants ended their season on taking out the Cowboys, and now I don't have to sit through a guaranteed humiliation of an ass kicking by Tom fucking Brady this coming weekend. I'm happy and content right now. The band-aid has finally been pulled off, and it is what it is.

Any Giants fan who put all of their eggs in one basket for the Eagles is a massive faggot.

👍

That was the only reason. This game probably shouldn't have been flexed in the first place.
Yeah. I don't get why they flexed the Loser Bowl. The only implications it had were on the NFC East. Seattle/Niners would have been the better game.

NFC East teams always have higher ratings no matter how much of a trash fire their division is. Dallas is, I think, the most popular team in the league, NY is a gigantic media market, Philly fans are dedicated, and who knows why people still watch Dan Snyder's nameless abomination. Maybe because Chase Young and Montez Sweat are fun to watch bully quarterbacks.

A lot of the Washington fans are lifelong fans who were following the team before Snyder took over as owner. It's hard to imagine a time where they were a serious organization, but it was the case within my lifetime. I'm sure for those who were watching in the late 80's when the team was good and always competing for a playoff spot have a hard time letting go of a once great organization.

Either that, or WFT fans are really into BDSM and just enjoy being punished.

Didn't look at it that way. I will say I can't believe how fast Young is for his size.

up to this point, I’ve never heard of a Giants fan claiming that a rival team “tanked” on purpose to spoil a playoffs series chances when that same Giants team‘s current record is 6-10.

6-10

And here I am sitting here confused as to how a 3-13 Jets team will be contenders if they were the favorites to draft Trevor Lawrence.

That still has not won a Super Bowl in over 53 years.

We made it boys, it's finally Wild Card weekend. What predictions do you guys have?

For the AFC I'm thinking:
Colts > Bills ( :optimistic: )
Titans > Ravens
Browns > Steelers

Nothing but upsets.

NFC:
Rams > Seahawks ( :optimistic: )
Tampa Bay > [ I'm Not Racist, But ]
Saints > Bears (unless Nagy can somehow conjure up some bullshit)

Lots of potential heartbreaks, salty claims of ref ball, maybe even a couple of critical injuries. Fingers crossed, it should be a good one.

Winner gets Reddit Gold.

IND - BUF: (flips coin) Buffalo I guess
LA - SEA: Seattle defense falls apart again. Assholes who picked the new God-awful Rams logo feel further validated.
TB - WAS: TB ekes it out EAT IT BRADY HATERS
BAL - TEN: Know your role, Titans. Baltimore sends them home.
CHI - NO: Saints I guess
CLE - PIT: Steelers eke out a win, but Browns should feel proud anyway.

EDIT: Look at that crowd in the stands! Is this the biggest crowd at any game this season? It's heartwarming to see. Still mostly empty seats, of course, but at least it has the crowd of a Thursday night Lions game in any other season.

Wow, Josh Allen scrambled and throws a pitch for a TD. That's one of the craziest plays I've ever seen.

Highlight Heaven on point, as always.
Yeah, I saw that one live. It was a beautiful play. This has been a fairly fun game so far.

It would have been the height of comedy if that non-catch in the first quarter would have stood. Ultimate refball.
