I haven't seen the details, but no way the Bears original pick (20 I believe) doesn't go to the Giants.Giants trade out of the first round. LMAO!
Yeah. ESPN finally showed it on their tracker.I haven't seen the details, but no way the Bears original pick (20 I believe) doesn't go to the Giants.
This is the front office basically admitting that either the Jaylon Smith extension or the Vander Esch pick was a mistake. Definitely don't want to succumb to the sunk cost fallacy here, but the average base defense in today's NFL is the nickel, so somebody is going to be situational. Smith is so fucking awful in coverage and overall awareness, I don't see his value in sub packages except short yardage.Parsons going to Dallas. Nice. I have a feeling that Bill Belichick is a little disappointed.
I put my autism to use over the past few minutes. I looked at every draft on Wikipedia all the way back to 1961. There wasn't a single one where a defender didn't go in the first 7 picks. The closest to that happening was in 1999 when the Redskins took Champ Bailey at #7.Also I'd have to look up the source, but I believe this is the first time in about 40 years that a defender didn't go in the top 7.
If Rodgers is able to escape Green Bay, the Packers won't stand a chance against the Bears in 2021.Bears take Justin Fields, INTERESTING.
They will absolutely run away with that division if Rodgers moves on. They made the playoffs last year with a Trubisky/Foles tandem, so Dalton/Fields is a major upgrade. Fields should start week one, imo, but they could still ease him in if they wanted to.If Rodgers is able to escape Green Bay, the Packers won't stand a chance against the Bears in 2021.
Me neither, it makes too much sense.Mac Jones to New England. It actually happened. I don't how anyone could criticize this pick.
Teven Jenkins and Sam Cosmi are OTs who might be worth trading up for given the semi-run on OL. I'm definitely biased in favor of Cosmi as he played for my alma mater, but I think he projects as a decent RT or guard as a pro. A bit too slight for LT though.A little surprised that Leatherwood is this high to Vegas. Guess the Bengals won't be trading up late in the round to get him like I mentioned earlier lol.
I'm really high on Rondale Moore from Purdue at receiver, but he's a tiny dude in the Tavon Austin mold, so I'm not surprised a more muscular slot guy like Toney went ahead of him.Oh wow, I expected the Giants to go with a receiver here, but I didn't see Kadarius Toney going this high. I actually thought Najee Smith would be a good pick here with him being such a dynamic back as well as insurance for Barkley.
Remind me again when was the last time a Buckeyes QB panned out? They will absolutely run away with that division if Rodgers moves on. They made the playoffs last year with a Trubisky/Foles tandem, so Dalton/Fields is a major upgrade. Fields should start week one, imo, but they could still ease him in if they wanted to.
