which, looking at their current roster, would be the worst thing for them. The fucks are like the Orioles from a few years ago, fancying themselves as contenders. BTW, they likely have another exodus of the SB team coming next year. They didn't go far enough in their tear down(GM is still there). Maybe if they division collapses and they go 6-11 they can take the division. I'd love to see Dallas fail but given their schedule and should-be better defense(can't get any worse), along with minimal health issues, there's no way they don't win 10 games, and if they do, they needed to be meme'd to anoher planet
Prescott has picked up a bad habit already. He doesn't want to put any weight on the injured leg - which I can't blame him - so he shouldn't be forcing it. Look at how he won't step into the throw and only touches the turf with the ball of his foot. It's the reason he stumbles back out of frame. He's off balance:
This video was posted today by one of my favorite NFL youtubers. A very bizarre story about an NFL prospect that I'd never heard of before named Adam Muema, who threw his potential NFL career away to join a cult.

STE tries to paint Muema as a sympathetic figure, but I find it hard to feel bad for anyone who could get suckered into such obvious bullshit like this. It's an interesting watch nonetheless.

Also this RayEl clown sounds like prime lolcow material. Scumbag, probable pedo, grifter, con-artist, god complex, adopter of terrible accents, he ticks a lot of boxes. Surprised that this is the first time I've ever heard of him.

Set The Edge is pretty solid.

If the Jets make the Superbowl I will paypal you 20 dollars, but if the Titans make the Superbowl, twenty bucks to me, deal?
Nah. Just being facetious. Off the top of my head they're going to be the two worst teams in the NFL next year, though I could certainly be wrong.

The Titans are a team in the mix, especially if Julio Jones returns to form. The Jets are a moonshot to even make the playoffs. Or even get to .500.

It's the year of 1993 all over again, since the Suns and Canadiens are in their respective championship games again and it looks like the Blue Jays have a chance to make the World Series this year.

So with that being said, it's going to be a Bills/Buccaneers Super Bowl. Cardinals for NFC darkhorse.

So basically, the NFL fined The Redskins $10,000,000 (with potential for $7,000,000 more), forced the entire organization to basically undergo CRT and Pride training, and somehow this is proof that the NFL is racist and protecting the white owners because they won't release the findings of the investigation. I guess the theory is that if the NFL disclosed everything then Snyder would be forced to sell the team, but it's hilarious that this is probably the biggest punishment I've ever seen for a team and within 10 seconds the response was "not good enough."

Edit: Full list of "recommended punishments":

It isn’t. Dan should sell the team for the good of the NFL. He’s a horrible owner

Richard Sherman booked, being investigated for domestic violence

Free-agent cornerback Richard Sherman was booked at 6:08 a.m. local time Wednesday at the King County Correctional Facility in Seattle and is being investigated for burglary domestic violence, which is a felony charge, according to public records.

Records state he was denied bail, but a spokesman for the Redmond (Washington) Police Department told ESPN that is standard procedure for suspects of domestic violence until they can appear before a judge.

The Washington State Police also are investigating Sherman for a separate incident that happened an hour earlier Wednesday. Sherman is being investigated by the state police in connection to a hit-and-run and damage to state Department of Transportation property, a spokesman told ESPN.

The spokesman for the Redmond PD said a 911 call from the residence was received at 2 a.m. PT. The person calling said that an adult male family member who did not live at the residence was attempting to force his way into the home.

When police arrived, the suspect was outside the home. He fought with police but was eventually apprehended and taken to a local hospital to be checked. After he was cleared medically, he was booked into the King County Correctional Facility.

The spokesman said no one at the residence was injured.

The Washington State Police received a report of a single-car accident at approximately 1 a.m. PT. The car, which was registered to Sherman, had struck a concrete barrier and was abandoned in a nearby parking lot.

In the course of trying to track down Sherman on a blood search warrant, which was sought to determine whether he was impaired related to the hit-and-run, state police then were in touch with Redmond police. They ended up at the scene of the 911 call and identified Sherman on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and he has not yet been criminally charged in relation to the alleged domestic violence or hit-and-run.

Sherman, 33, completed his third season with the San Francisco 49ers in 2020 after spending the first seven seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks.

Sherman also is a vice president of the NFL Players Association's executive committee.

"We were made aware of an arrest last night of one of our player leaders for an alleged domestic violence incident and have activated our domestic violence crisis protocol for the protection and support of everyone involved," the NFLPA said in a statement. "We will continue to monitor events closely as more facts are made available to us."

Sherman has been selected to five Pro Bowls and is a three-time first-team All-Pro in his 10 NFL seasons.

Richard Sherman trying to break down his in-laws' door Ring video dropped. Pretty sad. I totally understand the charges now. He's in better shape than I would have thought for a dude that downed two bottles of liquor before this happened.

Jon Gruden said:
I see the passion in this guy. This guy gets after it, and he doesn’t quit. In fact, I would call him the Sheriff, except the Sheriff is Peyton and the other Sheriff is arresting this guy. But look at the form, that door knows it’s in for a battle all game long. This guy has passion, he has power, he is committed to excellence. Al Davis would be proud, I call this guy a Las Vegas Radier

Old Row - Fucking YIKES bro @OldRowSports.mp4

Man as recently as uhhh five days ago, I had Sherman pegged as the most obvious notable player who could parlay his career into a media job. Hope he gets the help he needs, because the guy is absolutely fucking dynamite in front of a camera. From what I understand, his wife is on his side on this case and it was a total mental/drunk breakdown. He harmed no one and even though @Dick Pooman's video is a little scary, if anyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, it's a Stanford grad with no priors who was genuinely contrite in his apology and blamed nobody but himself for his actions.

The fact that he's a free agent complicates things, but I think he eats a 2-4 game suspension and hopefully gets whatever help he needs, whether it's rehab or just regular counseling.

He harmed no one
Only by dumb luck. Leading up to that he was drunk as a skunk (maybe more), drove his car into a jersey barrier then abandoned it in a parking lot when I guess it stopping being drive-able.

The odd part being that unless somebody had already called in his erratic driving he probably could have passed out in the parking lot, woke up the next day and called for a tow truck and Uber and been on his way. Maybe there'd have been a police report, but if he bullshited/perjured his way through that it probably would have come to nothing. But drunk people are hardly the most rational individuals.

Yeah, I mean anytime you drive drunk, there's a decent chance you'll kill someone. The fact that he smashed into a median or whatever and fled the scene isn't an excuse from a moral perspective, but unless he was on camera or confessed to the charge, that's reasonable doubt.

Not wanting to get too deep into politics, but it's King County. You could plug up, snort a line of ex-lax and take a massive shit on the district attorney's doorstep and still be unlikely to catch a charge.

Sherman’s been upfront about his own demons and fell victim to them this time. Luckily nobody got hurt. Personally, if I were him I’d take this opportunity to announce a retirement and get the help I needed, while also continuing to promote mental health awareness. I wish the best for him.

That's the scary part to me even more than banging on a door. I really don't like how our society and legal system does not consider drunk driving and firing a gun into the air in a crowd to be crimes of equivalent seriousness. I'm not saying Sherman's life must be ruined forever or he shouldn't be allowed to play football anymore, but I do think he needs to be convicted and given a sentence which at least includes mandatory drug and alcohol testing with randomized tests for at least a year or two. Only he can make the decision that he can't handle his alcohol and he needs to give it up, but if our massive police state is good for anything, it can use its force to help ensure he truly follows that path - and throw him in prison if he fucks up and puts other peoples' lives at risk again.

The Sherman thing was fucked up and kinda funny but the important thing is that we’re only a couple months from preseason (which is shorter) and there’s still time to gamble on over/under win totals. This is a good year to clean up since people aren’t yet used to 8 wins being a losing record.

Report: Rams' Akers out for season with torn Achilles

Los Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers suffered a torn Achilles on Tuesday and is expected to miss the entire season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Akers, 22, led the Rams in carries (145) and rushing yards (625) last year as a rookie and was expected to be a big part of the team's offense this season. He added two touchdowns on the ground in 2020.

Additionally, the second-round pick rushed for over 200 yards and scored twice in two playoff games.

The Rams' running back depth chart features Darrell Henderson, who set career highs with 624 yards (4.5 per carry) and five rushing touchdowns in 2020.

Akers' injury could force Los Angeles to pursue a free-agent veteran running back, including Todd Gurley, Adrian Peterson, and Le'Veon Bell.
