I wouldn't be opposed if I dont powerlevel too much. Seems like my usual league is going to skip out this year due to all the woke bullshit, which I dont blame him, but it would be nice to put my draft board to use and not play with total strangers and only somewhat strangers.

I'm personally a fan of Yahoo for fantasy and you can make a bullshit email there easily enough to avoid powerleveling. Just need six more.

I'd love to, but my schedule starting in September is going to be weird. Plus last time I played in one I finished dead last, getting absolutely spanked.

Another National Football League head coach has tested positive for Covid-19, adding to a long string of “breakthrough cases” in a league that has been among the most draconian with their vaccine push.

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel announced today that he has the disease. This comes after the team was touted as being one of the most compliant in the league with over 95% vaccinated as of early in training camp. Vrabel is among those who is “fully vaccinated.”

According to MSN:

Vrabel made the announcement during the Zoom presser, while also noting that he is dealing with an ear ache and sore throat. For now, Vrabel is in quarantine, but the plan is for him to get re-tested on Monday.


As far as how the Titans plan on running practices while Vrabel is out, the head coach says he is still trying to figure that out.

Vrabel mentioned special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman as somebody who could run things, as well as inside linebackers coach Jim Haslett and senior defensive assistant Jim Schwartz, both of whom have head coach experience.

Earlier in training camp, Titans general manager Jon Robinson revealed that the team was about 95 percent vaccinated. At the time that was among the highest vaccination rates in the NFL.

What is the point of pushing for universal vaccinations if the number of cases does not seem to be affected? Healthcare choice is being obliterated for the sake of improving… nothing.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of the biggest sticking points between the league and the NFLPA during the next CBA negotiation is going to be exactly that. Probably with the NFLPA demanding an extra bye week in exchange, and increasing the percentage of league revenue reserved for players.

I am against expanding the regular season, because it dilutes the "importance" of each game. Chicago Bulls lose 3 in a row? No big deal, they have 82 games. Chicago Bears lose 3 in a row? Better drink your sorrows away.

Imagine how insane ice hockey would be if the NHL only had 16 regular season games.

He sucked in the preseason too. Sure his vaccine status getting him put on the COVID list last week fucked him over in terms of Mac getting more reps, but at this point I think he's just washed. His shoulder's too fucked to be throwing passes anywhere but the dirt, and unless he starts loading up on avocados and pliability training I don't think he'll ever be more than a third stringer, unless a team is totally desperate.

So maybe he'll wind up on the Broncos this year, lmao.

He played parts of 12 seasons in the NFL between 1997 and 2008, most notably between 2001 and 2004 where he was a 3-time Super Bowl champ with New England.

Since 2013 he had been an assistant coach at his alma mater, Western Carolina University.
