Saints over GB, 38-3. Rogers lookin' like he wanted to cry.

I started out watching it but had to flip to the other game after a while. I don't like watching snuff films.

At least ma boi Mahomes has turned the tide against the Browns and there is some sanity in the world.

What the fuck happened in that Packers-Saints game? I was watching KC-Cleveland, but Green Bay got absolutely fucking destroyed. Anybody catch the actual game?

Rodgers looked rusty and he almost threw a pick 6 had the defender managed to hold on. Meanwhile the Saints defense played really well. The Packer defense couldn't defend the Saints receivers and there were a lot of open receivers and yards after the catch.

Jameis played really well, though he did throw an interception which got called back on very IFFY roughing the passer the call. Though when that call was made, the Saints were up by like 24 points in the middle of the 3rd quarter and GB showed no signs of life

Also, obligatory Skip Bayless tweet

Green Bay and Buffalo underperforming in disappointing but it is also week one; regression was expected for both but they both came out the gate looking like shit.

"Yeah we fancy like Applebeeeeeeee's on a date niiiiiight"

We have a winner for shittiest most obnoxious commercial of the season already.

Ladies, how long do you have to be married to a guy before him suggesting Applebee's for a date night doesn't slam your legs shut like a jail cell door?

And we cap off Sunday night with Matthew Stafford mercilessly dunking on the Bears, 34-14. Had to put up one more TD in garbage time as an official fuck you to their division as a whole. Not a single W in the NFC North this week.

If there's anything we can take away from today: these NFC West games are going to be a treat. I can see any of these teams giving Tampa a run for their money.

Ray-durrs keep going deep despite it almost always resulting in an incompletion if not a near-interception. I guess they're just fishing for PIs and personal fouls. That the Ravens are only up by 7 is shameful on their part. This game is embarrassing and is making both teams look like shit.

Will likely be the first year we get a whole division in the playoffs. I didn't think it would happen this quickly.

Will the NFL "experts" apologize to Justin Herbert for being flat out wrong about him? It's insane going back and watching his throws. The ball explodes out of his hand. I'm not a Chargers fan but I watched him a lot last year to see what he's like and watching the Top 100 players countdown it was hilarious to see the brothers going nuts when talking about him and how much they love him and how he can play.

Anyone else watch MNF with Peyton and Eli? Think it’s going to be my new go-to. Definitely has some kinks to be worked out but I thought they were insightful and funny. Great guests too

Oh, thank Christ, it's finally over. What a shitshow. Ironically it ended with the Raiders completing one of those long passes they've been dropping all night. I will probably never watch a game from either of these teams again so long as any other game is on.

So long as the Monday games will continue to be on broadcast, sure, but checking out the schedule on nfl.com, it looks like they're going to all be on cable, so fuck 'em.

I wasn't impressed by either of them. That entire OT was WTF though. I did enjoy it for the shitshow it ended up becoming

Same ol’ Jets Giants losing again.

Even though the NY Jets lost to their former teammate, I must say they did show some progress on the offensive end. Not bad for Zach Wilson’s first start as a rookie, in my opinion.

Every team in the NFC West won. Every team in the AFC West won. No team in the NFC north won. The only AFC East team to win, won against another AFC East team. Ditto the AFC South.

Dolphins, Raiders, Saints, Eagles and Texans in first place in their divisions. Tell me you saw that coming, and I'll call you a liar.

Did anyone else watch that, whatever it was, on ESPN2 last night? Peyton and Eli might be okay as color guys in a booth with someone capable of speaking more than six words a minute, but together? Ouch.

I have no idea what any of this means or if it is significant in any way, but it sure looks weird. Happy Week 1, I guess. :story:

For the uninitiated...how I watch games/high seas (but out in the open) links:
https://home.nflbite.com/ - This is the old (now banned) Reddit streams.
How it stays up, I have no idea. I imagine it will go away at some point, but not yet. Annoying pop ups on most of the channels, but I've never heard of anything malicious, either. Just close the pop up boxes and for the love of the Baby Jesus don't download anything. Biggest issue is the lag between reality and the streams, always at least 30 seconds behind, often several minutes. Secondary issue is how often you get buffer...buffer...crash. This seems to be becoming a bigger and bigger issue as more normies find the site.

https://ustvgo.tv/ - This is the simulcast of a local cable system.
Not sure which one, seems to have shifted from Bumblefuk, NC to NYC at some point. ESPN2, CBS and Fox do not require you to use the VPN they're selling, ESPN, all the premium cable channels and (oddly) NBC do. No buffering/crashing issues, the games seem to be live and in real time, but the NFL games are local to wherever the CBS and Fox affiliates are. Again, no clue how this could possibly be legal or how long it sticks around, but there it is.

I was waiting for New York State's only football team to join in NYS's COVID bullshit.

All fans TWELVE and over need to be vaccinated; 11 and under need to wear masks at all times.

Also today, SIX Saints coaches test positive for COVID. All six were vaccinated.

I understand why the NFL does the NFCE on primetime all the time, it's the huge market teams. But for years these games have been terrible. Games like these just don't appeal to a casual or new fan. Let the Browns and Chiefs be center in games like this and let the new fans see some excitement for a change;

As shitty as those teams are, their retard fans seem to always tune in and ratings are what matter the most to all those network fags.

I like this game better so far than the first half of the Raiders/Ravens game though but I doubt it's going to have that fun of a finish. Good lord, does Daniel Jones just suck absolute shit though.
