Oh boy a prayer thread I'll start with The Prayer, The Lord's Prayer as nobody else has posted it. I find it commonly recited before a prayer you make yourself. I'll use this post as an example of a daily prayer I do. I also say, "In The Name of The Father, Son and Holy Ghost" before The Lord's Prayer, and after my own. I'm not sure how standard this is but its how I pray
The Lord’s Prayer:
In The Name of The Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever
Amen.
Dear God I hope and pray that you will warm the hearts of fellow Kiwis no matter how cold, and strengthen the resolve of those who already know you. To heal and guide those afflicted by illness both physical mental or spiritual. In The Name of The Father, Son and Holy Ghost, Amen.
