I was craving cheap pizza, so I went to Little Caesar's today. They have a "lunch combo" where you have a small deep dish pizza and a bottle of soda for $6.50. It's quite filling, but the cheese doesn't stay put. Don't eat it as soon as you get it. Too hot.
If you can get a Little Caesars pizza right when its done its honestly not bad for the price, it does help to be slightly drunk though

I remember when LC's pizzas would be hot and ready for $5 and some change. After COVID, they cannot guarantee "hot and ready" as it would result in more waste from unsold pizzas. Still, for what I paid for and the wait time, it wasn't bad.

Anybody in the upper midwest ever had BC Pizza? Their buffet is outstanding, fattening, but outstanding.

The Little Caesar's stuffed crust pepperoni is really good, although not on sale now, it's only $11.99 for 3,500 calories and feeds 3 of us easily. I order it on the app and pick it up the moment it's out of the oven.

The key to Little Caesar's is always ordering something they have to make and not pre-made already.

Old commercial for a local pizza place in my hometown, was made by some of the local college kids for cheap. This commercial still airs occasionally on local channels despite being almost 20 years old.
The pizza's good too.

Unironically, Little Caesars. I know people say it's like cardboard; but clearly yours isn't ran well, cause when that stuff is fresh and hot? Dear God, it's actually criminal that it's only $5. Yes, I WOULD like a paycheck from John Caesars himself.
The one time I had little Caesars I got violently ill for days and needed to go to the hospital for it. That 5 dollars hot and ready turned into 5000 dollars antibiotics and IVs. I would gag at the smell of red-sauce pizzas for a few years afterwards. My current favorite chain pizza is the chicken florentine from Marco's. 20231116_170003.jpg

So Domino's took the "Brooklyn style pizza," an item that's been on their menu for 20+ years, changed its name to "New York style pizza" and are trying to advertise it as a new product. Wow.

A few days ago I made this abomination during MATI:

Minced meat, pineapple, banana and curry pizza. Swedish style. They had a point with the curry, not with the banana. Not the right type of sweet to have on a pizza, unlike pineapple. The minced meat is also too crumbly.

I was going to make this on Friday, but I wanted to use up the leftover sauce before it went bad, so I made it today:

Prosciutto ham, mozzarella, with fresh arugula and tomatoes on top. The fresh ingredients were just slapped on top so they kept falling off, but otherwise it was good. The first one would be better if I didn't put banana on it.

The new garlic stuffed crust from Papa John's is A1 quality goyslop. Had cheese baked on top of the crust as well. Huge fan of it.
I had the garlic stuffed crust when they were previewing it and I'm not a big fan of it since it doesn't do well delivery-wise, their Crispy Cuppy 'Roni New York-style Pizza (if not their NY-style pizzas in general) have the same problem.

That said if I want that much garlic sauce coursing through my system I'd just get extra dipping cups.
I'm not too thrilled that I paid 30 dollars for it however.
Part of the reason why it's so high is that it's a specialty stuffed crust pizza, those always ask for a premium price.

Also, if you haven't joined Papa Johns' rewards program I strongly recommend it. It's surprisingly generous compared to ones found at other chain pizza places (one dollar spent adds one point to your account, 75 points nets you $10 in "Papa Dough", and you can use up to $100 in "Papa Dough" on a future order). That and they have the usual rewards program benefits (birthday gift, exclusive deals, previews for new menu items, etc.) as well.

Oh, and I think they have a 20% off coupon on their deals page right now.
