Oooh a lizard thread! Here is my lizards! I always envy those people with the leopard gecko pics where they look so happy and smiley. Mine always look like they're plotting something.

This is Acorn. I don't have great pics of Acorn because she doesn't like to sit still for pics. I don't think she likes the camera very much. She's a bit cautious in general except when she senses food is coming. She is always ready to eat anything you offer her.

This is Frankie Peanuts. He is a chonky boy. Look at that big chonk tail! Frankie Peanuts is more outgoing than Acorn and less concerned about anything outside his enclosure.

His tail was stubby when I got him. Idk what happened to it but It's cool, he's fine.

idk but that's a salmonella risk if I've ever seen one.
I'm surprised he still has a face after a dumb stunt like that. The alligator snapping turtle has a bite force of about 158 Newtons which is far less than a human's bite force but they compensate with that vicious beak which can amputate fingers easily. Salmonella poisoning would have been the least of his worries had that snapper chomped down harder.

My leopard (Malcolm) and pictus geckos (Darwin)! Malcolm is almost 20 and highly disagreeable, despite what his face suggests. Darwin is about 5 months old and hasn't really demonstrated a discernible personality yet beyond being complete pig with his meals.

Anyone know a good source for feeder snails?
I'd like to know this too. Especially in the US it's a bitch to deal with snails because there's a complete ban on shipping them over state lines - you HAVE to go local or go the extra length to raise them yourself. It's completely illegal to get them from out of the nation as well, pretty sure there's some special exception for escargot. You can't even keep giant snails. This also applies to slugs. I'm sure there's some loophole if you get the right licenses (read, pay the fed a bunch of money for nothing) but I don't know it.

I only used dark theme for like 10 secs but an actual pic of me on kf.

I know this post is super old but I just had to share this because I have an almost identical photo.

She loves getting on keyboards generally. I don't know what the attraction is, probably something about the pattern reminds her of something in her natural habitat.

These aren't staged. If I'm holding her near my desk she'll want to get off and climb on the keyboard.

At first I thought it was just because of the heat of the laptop but she does it to my standalone keyboard as well.
