Nothing is meant to go on forever. To put it in perspective, the Simpsons premiered when the Soviet Union was still a country. It should've ended after the movie. That would still be a few hundred episodes that could run on syndication forever and not have to squeeze every last drop from a stone that ran dry at least a decade ago.

It is truly a culmination of everything wrong with zombie simpsons that sprung up ogver the decades. It is just another "lets have the simpsons meet the celebrity" tthing again with its only purpose being to worship them.

After years of making Lisa the biggest and most obnoxious feminist they can, the writers realized there is just one thing missing: having daddy issues because you can't flanderize a character without them having the most stereotypical exaggerated traits and you can't have a feminist character without daddy issues, On the otherhand, Jerkass Homer over the pass decades has been incredibly self-centered, stupid and uncaring. I know this is only a short but I don't understand how people think that the show is "becoming better" or that it's no longer zombie simpsons as seen in the previous post I made here: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/the-official-simpsons-griefing-thread.10085/post-11434892

Back in the glory days the show would mock conventions of modern America, now it's become so desperate for attention that it tries and fails to embrace even worship those conventions. It's why this teaser has things like some tik toker making jokes about entertaining people who don't watch television or grandpa taking a selfie.


Can I just add any time a character in western animation mentions a selfie it's the most cringey thing ever?
