That's hilarious to me that there's Simpsons nerds who make sure to visit the Sunsphere.
This scene is so good because it really captures the feeling of being on roadtrips with the boys and fucking up along the way. I relate to Milhouse and being embarrassed by suggesting a horrible stop. The only thing the episode doesn't have is the experience of HORRIBLE middle of nowhere diner food.
New Simpsons episodes feel like they come from the bowels of Hell.
What sticks out to me now is how bad and Un-Simpsons the new music is. RIP Alf Clausen.

Everybody's A Sinner! Except For This Guy. - Arioch

Code:
Lisa: Dad, remember how you said going to Itchy and Scratchy Land
           would be too damned expensive?
Homer: Oh, everything's too damned expensive these days. Look at
this bible I just got -- fifteen bucks! And talk about a
preachy book...everybody's a sinner! [points to a verse]
           Except for this guy.

One worry that's been on my mind is that they're going to try to do another "Homer's Enemy"
there was a Miami Vice or a Walker or some other old shit on pluto the other night and Dock Worker #3 or whoever was "Frank Grimes"
the wife and I joked about good ol' Grimy

Didn’t they give him a son who tried killing homer like in season 12 or something?
Yeah. Was season 14 I guess.

I remember watching that when it first aired and the whole episode treating it like a huge mystery that someone was trying to kill Homer and nobody could figure out who, to the point Sideshow Bob was hired to help figure it out.

No way it could be the Frank Grimes looking guy named Junior who appeared from nowhere as Homer's mechanic and who kept showing up the whole episode.

I only watched it that once but I remember thinking it was pretty obvious from the start what was up if you remember Frank Grimes at all.
