Why, you think it's bad too? I mean, the b-plot regarding Homer going back to high school was lame, but it wasn't a terrible episode compared to Homer the Heretic.

No. I don't think it's bad, I think it's pretty good actually, I'm just surprised that you listed it as an episode that people really liked in Season 4. More people would be prone to naming Last Exit To Springfield, Marge Vs. The Monorail, Mr. Plow, and Homer's Triple Bypass, than...THE FRONT.

Ah. Yeah, those are certainly higher points, I was just throwing examples out there, probably not the best though.

Out of the Orange Man is Bad shorts, I think this is the worst one:

Watch Dan struggle to try to do DT's "I make the best deals, the greatest deals, the best deals." He sounds like a dopey high school jock. And if there's one thing we know DT doesn't sound like, he's definitely no sports jock.
One thing that bothers me about that Trump and recent celebrity cameos is that they don't look like Simpson characters.

It's the one episode (along with the one where she finds the Chanel dress) where you just absolutely hate Marge.
It's funny, you now reminded me of my childhood reactions to that episode and Hank Scorpio. I was always so mad at Homer and Marge for screwing up at the last moment and not just accepting their chance at success. All they had to do was maintain course and things would have improved. Damn you sitcom status quo!

Fucking Marge in Scorpio is the most ridiculous. The woman could have just gotten a second job if she was just too bored since the smarthouse did all the work for her.

Triple Bypass is the best Simpsons episode. Perfect in every way.

I mean, the running gag has always been Marge is a terribly boring woman whose life revolves around homemaking . That's why she gets excited about doorbells and was so susceptible to a gambling addiction.

Back before her character was assassinated.
That screamapillar episode had a funny Marge moment for a post-2000 episode. She sees the koi pond Homer bought and thinks "how much money did he piss away on this". Curt profanity is out of character for her but the fact it was internal made it work.

Yea, the idea of Marge using (light) profanity in her head is pretty funny, considering she used "snicklefritz" as profanity in another episode and thought she'd get in trouble over it.

Heh, funny you should mention that episode since if I recall correctly back nearly 20 years ago, that episode marked the end of me religiously watching the simpsons as I had done since the late 90s. Not that the episode was especially terrible or anything* but after two seasons of lackluster mediocrity I just found better shit to watch.

*though obviously it wasnt very good by any means....tbh it still is probably a masterpiece compared to the past decade of simpsons
