Funny thing (and slight of topic sperging ahead) I never read the original tekwar books (because yes they are a real series of books william shatner wrote) but they had a comic adaptation by marvel in the 90s and from what I read it's a good series, hell I have to wonder if transmetroplitan took the "machines can get addicted to drugs" thing from it. So yes it makes sense why that'd be a book banned by other schools
 
Watched the new TOH.

It's shit. I don't even remember most of it, the stories weren't interesting in the slightest (the last one was kinda ok, but it was still thoroughly mediocre), and the election intro is a tried and true joke that the series did better back during Citizen Kang.

It's been said before, but this show desperately needs to be put to rest.
