First Tetris 99 game

Begining of the stream:
"This is a game where you play Tetris together with 99 other people and they may attack you with different things"

DSP was doing ok and suddenly He got tons of rows filled up from an attack, his reaction is very slow and he lost

place 25th

"WTF was that? I didn't make any mistakes, I did nothing wrong! I did everything correct and suddenly these blocks came out of there and fucked me, why? The game never explained anything!"

What's the over-under on number of games before Phil drops Tetris 99? Chat can't help him in real-time on this one and it doesn't look like Phil is able to plan in advance even when the game already shows you your next 5 pieces.

Phil did a terrible play there and fucked himself (that blue piece that blocked the gap), complaining about the swap function in which he used but the game randomly swapped him with the same piece so he got fucked over

"THat's not my fault, game is garbage man, I did nothing wrong there, they swapped me with the same fucking piece"

Is there any benefit to saving up for four row Tetrises in this game? It seems like it would be best to just clear lines as fast as possible, but DSP is building up too many blocks waiting for the 4x1 block and then when the sabotage rows start showing up he's already too fucked to do anything about it.

I think he's doing fine as far as regular Tetris goes. The problem's the additional features in this game, like targeting other players, swapping blocks, and the other players' layers that build up underneath yours. These may be what does him in.

He's very energetic, and so far this seems to be reaping him Bits and Tips.

in this game? no theres no HUGE benefit to it since you want to clear lanes faster than a normal game of tetris

Getting Tetrises is effective if you're being attacked and want to eliminate garbage other players are sending your way while also sending them garbage.

Cheers and tips for tonight's stream are about $35 or so. Tips are about $12 (plus at least 69 cents he didn't put up). So it's not exactly killing it.
