Phil had roughly 13 deaths on the part and would have had more but he managed to lame it out in a corner and got lucky that the game progressed him fast enough to avoid a fail state again.

That was absolutely brutal. The TIHYDP could just be that fight and it'd be one of the saddest lowlight reels ever.
was this the seige event? hes also straight up talking about acid rounds for hunters, they'll dodge them if he just fires anytime. and someone just told him about the magnum.

I just woke up as he was going on break. no way hes gonna beat the game today. also shitting on people for being mean to him on his birthday.

WAAAAAAAH I ONLY GOT $800+ just in tips. LIFE'S SO HAAAARD.

God in heaven, please let Corona-chan fuck the global economy just enough that it is no longer financially viable to play video games for money.

I will cum a river to float the Ark from Ararat if people like Phil and Alinity have to enter the Sahara of the job market that will be remaining when people begin to rebuild.

If ever there was a brief moment of doubt in your heart that Phil was using a guide, I point you to the second to last boss fight
(the last “true” Nemmy bossfight).

No. Fucking. Way. He wouldn’t have panic flailed
at all the extra zombie coming at him and ignore them, letting Nemmy kill them.

bull. Shit.

I just assume he uses them all the time and probably has done for a good while now.

Back in the day he arrived at the notion that developers only ever made anything in any videogame difficult so that the suffering average gamerz like himself would be forced to buy the strategy guides in order to finish them. The lengths his mind goes to in order to protect the fragile ego is quite special.

Though at the same time it's pretty funny the amount of times he'll luck out on notoriously difficult segments in games and pass it without breaking a sweat. The last boss in Sekiro comes to mind but there plenty other examples out there to choose from. This usually occurs after he's thrown some 25 minute shitfit where a game dares to hint at a solution instead of explicitly telling him what to do. He's evahlved from they're forcing me to buy a strategy guide to they're forcing me to work lahnger hours by watching guides before-during-and after business hours.

Imagine how much he must hate his job if he's willing to sacrifice the entire fresh experience of playing them in favor of simply enduring them for as short a period of time as possible. Any time anyone gets mad at DSP for the money he makes would do well to remember he now ruins these daily experiences for himself even before he ruins them for anyone else who tunes in. His dream jahb became his worst nightmare - something resembling a real jahb because he burnt himself out and killed any genuine enjoyment he ever got out of the medium. If only all games were Final Fantasy 6 or Super Turbo.
