Plagiarism aside, I think this is true.

I also have observed in many circumcision arguments that the pro-cutting side will frequently resort to insults (anteater dick, smelly, insults about sex appeal for women, etc) I have come to think there's some psychological reason why some men get so angry/defensive when you criticize circumcision. Maybe because they subconsciously know something was taken from them, and to admit it would mean admitting 1) they have less functional genitals, and 2) Their parents/religion did a horrible thing to them as soon as they were born.

So they subconsciously repress it, by consciously telling themselves it's normal to have your penis muitlated at birth, and reacting in anger to any suggestions otherwise. And when they have sons, they continue the cycle of mutilation to justify its normalcy.

As I was writing this, I realized it's a similar psychological thing to how people who were beaten as kids will beat their own kids, and justify it by saying "their parents did it to them, so it must be normal."

Idk if "circumcision is mainly perpetuated by mass generational trauma" counts as a schizo conspiracy theory, but that's my two cents.

For the first: Photography came around somewhat after the classical revival phase of the 18th century, building on renaissance and baroque architecture which in turn also took a lot of classic elements. It's a bit too simple to say that "it's all greek/roman" when every country/region had their own distinct styles and elements, too. And those are mostly representative buildings by monarchs and aristocratst, too, who would have much more international contact and overlap than the regular people. Russian aristocracy was very francophil for example. And still, Russian architecture is quite distinct from the Western counterparts, and you'd find a lot of differences between the various western european countries as well.
The World's Fairs are a weird one. They came about right around the rise of nationalism and imperialism, and for sure everyone would try their best to make their country look the best. They still do them, and they still put up elaborate temporary pavillons. Albeit not quite as elaborate as they did back then, although you gotta remember that those World's Fair buildings were not actually meant to last. Like, they were not real buildings made of stone, they were mostly wooden with elaborate facades.
