Has anyone seen this thing? Someone made a java program that simulates Tumblr shitposts (a necessary product, I'm sure) and they're all perfect. The worst part is that some of the SJW's don't realize that its a bot made to troll them and reblog it's stuff seriously.

Like, it has every lolcow-type post imaginable.

TL;DR I can't believe tumblr has gotten to the point where these are being reblogged unironically.

I haven't encountered anyone reblogging shitbot posts on tumblr, but then I don't go there very often because it's a hueg SJW hugbox and I only go there for...purposes.

This is totally something I'd program into any chat protocol I use to fuck with people though.
 
I haven't seen people taking these seriously but I love that this program exists.

So far I've only seen Homestuck fans reblogging posts ironically (or unironically; it's hard to tell) but holy shit there are actually people taking posts from a bot seriously? A bot that's called "shitpostgenerator?"

Tumblr can be so goddamn dense.
 
My pet tumblrcow has reblogged a couple of these generated posts... Its hard to tell if they think its serious or not but some of the reblogged posts have serious commentary added so thats a concern.

Oh shitpostgenerator. I don't think anybody is taking it seriously beyond reblogging it for it's silly generated posts. I read (I gotta find my sources again) that the owner of the bot/blog actually lost the password (or email) to it and it's now shitposting freely.

Idk man, some of the usernames reblogging it were like fuck-the-patriarchy-xxx0123 or whatever shit, and were SJWs so I assumed they were taking it at face value. There was one post where it said something like, "Why Patriarchal ___ do _____?" or something that could be construed seriously by someone truly deranged and I saw a response Like "If only I knew." True, could have been half-serious, I guess.

Idk. I love it cause sometimes I go down my dash and I'm like "When did I follow an SJW what" only to see that it's shitbot.

i don't think it's so much that SJWs take the posts seriously as they are like "hey lol look at this robot accidentally conforming to our agenda" and they use humor to their advantage or w/e
but some of the least funny posts have been SJW-like ones.
 
I warned you guys that this would happen. I warned you. Cleverbot was the beginning, our very own internet "tickle me, sempai" simulator. Now we have the Shitbot; we have a tumblr shitpost generator. AI are going to take over the internet. Lolcows will not be needed.

Also, this is amusing.

Jesus Christ, they're on par with the Superwholocks in terms of defensiveness now. :( My fandom may be shitty at times, but at least we have a sense of humor about ourselves...and when Shitbot posted about us, we all laughed and rejoiced.

(Seriously, no one hates the Homestuck fandom more than we hate ourselves.)

I remember the last 4chan Tumblr raid.

They got frustrated that nothing they threw at the Homestucks seemed to work.
